Sedative

(french) SEDATIVE voit le jour en 2000 à Chamonix (Haute Savoie). Les guitaristes, Nico et Rico, appuyés d'une boîte à rythmes, distillent un brutal /death froid et rapide... Après quelques changements, le line up s'étoffe et se confirme avec Nico à la guitare, Bertrand à la batterie, Yan à la basse, Fred à la deuxième guitare et Vinz au chant. Ces nouveaux membres ont apporté chacun leur touche personnelle et leurs influences donnant à Sedative sa marque de fabrique : brutal, death, grind and groove ! Deux albums "Inconscience" sorti en 2005 et "Lobocaïne" en 2009, et trois maxis "Déviance Malsaine" en 2003, "Ictus" en 2007 et "Viceroton" sorti en 2011 sont disponibles. Le troisième album, fruit de l’évolution du groupe depuis sa création, est en préparation pour paraitre à l’orée 2014. Sur de nombreuses scènes, dont celles du Cuba Brutal Fest en 2010, l’Usine de Genève, le Brise Glace, Château Rouge, le groupe a partagé les planches avec, entre autres, GADGET, MUMAKIL, KNUT, THE ARRS, GENERAL SURGERY, DAGOBA, DEFEATED SANITY, GORGASM, COMBAT NOISE, LAST DAYS OF HUMANITY... et bien d'autres encore ! Bref, SEDATIVE n’a pas fini de vous faire mosher !!!!! Note : le groupe tient à préciser qu’il se positionne contre toute idéologie sexiste, « pro-life », raciste, nationaliste et fasciste aussi bien dans la scène musicale que dans la vie. (english) Sedative was created in 2000 by two guitarists, Nico and Rico, and with the help of a rhythm box they played a fast and sharp grind / death. After some changes the lineup evolved and is now complete with Nico on the guitar, Bertrand on the drums, Yan on the bass, Fred on the second guitar and vocals by Vinz. The new members, have brought their own personal touches and influences, giving Sedative its trademark: brutal, death, grind and groove! Two albums, “Inconscience” released in 2005 and “Lobocaïne” in 2009, and three EP's, “Déviance Malsaine” (2003), “Ictus” (2007) and “Viceroton” (2011) are available. The third album, a result of the evolution of the band from its creation, is to be released in 2014. The band shared the stage in many places including the Cuba Brutal Fest in 2010, the Usine in Geneva, Brise Glace, Château Rouge, and with many bands including, GADGET, MUMAKIL, KNUT, THE ARRS, GENERAL SURGERY, DAGOBA, DEFEATED SANITY, GORGASM, COMBAT NOISE, LAST DAYS OF HUMANITY... and more!
