Such a great show! The band members even spent time with fans afterwards to chat and sign play lists, posters, CDs and shirts!

Man, what a treat to see this band again.  The place was packed and they played the whole Witchdoctor album and all kinds of other great stuff from their other albums. Not a clunker in the bunch.  I forgot Dave Slutes is such a terrific smartass and raconteur. It makes for a good front man.  Maybe it's just because I was having such a good time, but they sounded better than ever, even though I caught a few hiccups. At one point a guest musician I didn't recognize - a big dude with a beard, I think - got up on stage to sit in and play steel guitar with them. That was cool - who doesn't like a steel guitar - except I think that out of deference/good manners Rich Hopkins never teed off on that stratospheric never-quite-the-same-but always-friggin-awesome solo he normally does at the end of What She Said. But what the hell, they were having a great time, I was having a great time, and so was the rest of the crowd.
