About Corey Clark
Corey Clark is an R.I.A.A Certified Gold recording artist, vocalist, and songwriter. He is a Billboard chart topping artist coming in at number one in 2003. Corey was voted by his fans and his musical peers alike as the best male R&B vocalist in Music City USA aka Nashville, Tennessee. As a young child he was inspired to become an entertainer by both his father and mother- who are also singers.
His interest in music continued to develop throughout the years
and he began singing himself at the age of 11 and received his first professional singing job when he was 13 years of age. Corey’s style of music consists of R&B, Soft Rock, Classics, Adult Contemporary, Pop, and some Country.
His favorite male music artists include his father- Duane Clark, Michael Jackson, and Prince. Other artists to whom he attributes influence on his own singing style include Stevie Wonder, Justin Timberlake, and Usher.
In 2003, Corey was a principle role performer on an Emmy winning production called American Idol leaving the production in 6th place.
In that same year, Corey appeared on the cover of People magazine and appeared on other covers of multiple magazines such as New Music Weekly, US Weekly and thousands of other mainstream publications all
over the world. In 2005, Corey appeared in TV Guide magazine where he was described as an “R&B heart throb”.
Today, Corey is being represented by his management team Honey Bee Productions. His upcoming projects
include a publishing deal to release his first book. He is also completing his second album which will be released
later this year through SM1 Music Group/Powered by The Orchard through Sony Music.
