San Diego Alt Rock band Avenue Army has a sound that has been described as "Power Pop with HUGE balls" and has been recording, releasing music, gigging and touring with bands like Trapt, 3 Pill Morning, Saving Abel, and Alien Ant Farm since 2009. Originally formed by Max Bergstrom in the Midwest, Avenue Army relocated to San Diego in 2016 and have been hitting the scene and the southwestern tri-state area ever since. Avenue Army signed to Cleopatra Records in 2019 and released The Holding Steady EP under the Cleo umbrella the same year.
