About The Walk Off
The Walk Off is a "rock n roll" band. Now, bear with us here for a moment while we explain ourselves. We’re not necessarily, like, a “rock” band. We’re the kind of band that still tosses the “roll” on at the end. It’s kind of trivial, maybe even unnecessary, but we do it. “Roll” through its simple presence following the word “rock” paints the phrase as something more than a genre. “Roll” implies movement. Booty shaking. Attitude. Since you’re still reading this, it sounds like we’re all on the same page. Sweet. This “rock n roll” band, dubbed The Walk Off by ourselves, is just that: a band. Three guys who decided one day that the collective noise they assembled was worth playing for people. We’re not trying to sell you something (except for T-shirts once we can afford to make those, and believe me we will peddle them shamelessly). We just want to make music because we enjoy listening to it, and while there’s so much of it in the world there’s still never enough. We seek to create the soundtrack to your aimless drives, sleepless nights, etc. You get the idea. We’re that kind of band. We started this little project of ours in the fall of 2014. Back in the day, we were three very confused college freshmen with lame hair and only a very vague idea of what we wanted to do with our lives. That we figured out after sharing a few awkward demos and jamming; the immediate chemistry was almost surreal. 2015’s “A Likely Story” EP followed, providing the bare bones and jumping off point of our sound and our band. We’re currently grinding our fingers to the bone - figuratively of course because we need those to play our instruments - working on a 12-track debut LP to be released in the coming months. Anyways, congrats on having the attention span to make it this far. It’s been real. Please by all means enjoy the tunes and the page and maybe even our fashion sense. That’s probably pushing it. -The Walk Off The Walk Off is a rock n roll trio from the whimsical land of Boston, Massachussets
