It was my first time ever to see such a huge band in my life where this kind of shows never get to happen in 3rd world countries like Egypt(where I come from) It was amazing, Incredible sound design and amazing coordination between the light and what is being played I hope I can see similar bands in Egypt ,Thanks for the great show,Thanks Randy Mcsteine for the photo :"D

Great band, nice location, very good sound, but some people came there to talk instead of enjoying music, when they could go to a bar and let other enjoy art instead of listening to pointless chatter.

The concert was excellent , sound , musicians , location, all as expected. same god as in their DVD "Nothing but the truth", the only strange for me in concert was pictures and videos ( mobil phone usage ) was not allowed, I have been many times in Complex 457 and this was the first time that happened , anyway ...

Great performance, excellent sound, the whole of the new album played, demonstrating a justified faith in their new material, prog rock at its best! And their first live gig in more than 2 years too.

What a great band! The venue itself has been around for a long time, and the area is becoming quite run down outside (sign of the times sadly - only reason it's 4 instead of 5 stars), but having this quality of a band come to the area was a huge treat! Definitely worth the price of admission!

I think was a good venue for this band. They are great to listen to online or other studio versions, but outstanding live... this is the second time to see them live. They have a great sound man. 👌

The band was amazing in every sense. High energy, great selection of songs, crazy long set list without an intermission, nice light show and excellent sound quality in an intimate venue.
And of course, there was Gavin Harrison…the main reason that many people came out to see this show, myself included. Gavin is a legend and he did not disappoint, filling out what are already very good songs with a layer of sophistication and technical prowess that is unmatched by others in his profession. He is quite simply the best drummer working today IMO. Go see them if you get the chance and you can decide for yourself.

Great show!! The show was in a very small area, so it was a very personal show. We have seen this band numerous times in small venues before, so this was like visiting old haunts in Europe where the band has been playing for years; this was their first show in Austin. Front man, Bruce Soord, is extremely polite and even apologized for the tight quarters. The band played some new tunes from their latest release, Give it Back, with drummer extraordinary, Gavien Harrison, who also plays with King Crimson and Porcupine Tree.
The opening numbers had a few technical difficulties which didn't take from the show but yes, a bit distracting. They played for about two hours and finished with a three number set: quite pleasing. The mixing was a bit dodgy, not being able to distinguish all the instruments and vocals with toward the end just getting loud. All in all, a great show because of the personal nature the band emphasizes and the great connection you feel with them. They played their hearts out!! Catch one of their shows before they return to England; very entertaining.

I feel sorry for the Boomers who bellyache that only the bands of their youth were any good, and that today’s music is all junk. I was there then and I’m here now to declare that The Pineapple Thief is better than any of the classic rock bands.

Far exceeded my expectations. First time seeing them live. I won’t miss them again when they’re in town. Amazing show. Opener was good but would have liked to see the whole band rather than a solo but his songs were good. Deep.

Absolutely amazing show! I saw them back in 2019 and this show was on par if not better. Great music, great sound, great lighting. But I did prefer the Mod Club as a venue over the Opera House.

The Pineapple Thief at World Cafe Live was an excellent show. They played songs from throughout their career, and sounded great. The band was really tight, and the sound was perfect. The band is made up of great musicians, especially Gavin Harrison, and Bruce Soord's voice has never been better.

I didn't think White Mist could be any better. The Thief crushed it live. 3000 Days was the high point for me. ROCKED!!!! I've been a Pineapple Thief fan since 2003 and now I finally got to see them. I was not dissapointed. I didnt think I could be a bigger fan....but I am.

This was a stellar show! Having seen PT before, can say that Gavin's addition brought everyones game up! Such a tight fit!
Props to Randy McStein! Never knew such sounds could come from a Martin acoustic guitar!

Awesome!!! Had the VIP experience and these guys were so friendly. I felt like I was hanging with friends. They truly wanted to be there with the fans and were obviously enjoying the experience themselves. Looking forward to their return.

This show blew me away. I waited a long time to actually see them, being the first time they toured the U.S. Bruce Soord has been writing great songs with beautiful melodies for quite some time, but Gavin Harrison definitely adds dimension to this band and live show. SEE THIS BAND

Fantastic show. Really moving and quite special. Bruce Soord has such a soaring and evocative voice which carried me off to another place. All 5 of these brilliantly talented musicians just blew me away. It was really something to see Gavin Harrison perform in person. Overall, a spectacular night!

Great show. TPT and every band reacts to the vibe in the audience. And Philly crowd was on the quiet side.
By comparison, saw TPT in Paris. It was their first night on the European tour. The show did not have the polish and perfection. But it rocked.

Are there any more stars to give for me? That was a perfect night. I had the chance to meet the whole band, they were so kind and I felt so happy like never before! The concert was gorgeous, too. Unfortunately in this small club it was a little too loud. I had my EarPods with me and with them it was better. Without it was hard after a whole evening in others' opinion. For me it was wonderful! Everything suited: the atmosphere, the people,... just EVERYTHING!
Greetings
