Ratu

Ratu is a musical project led by Maya Estianty or more commonly known to public as Maia Ahmad. A pop band from Indonesia, Ratu immediately catch the public ear with their quirky and playful lyric, combine with Maia's ability to write catchy pop hooks.

After firing previous two vocalists, which both of them, Pinkan Mambo and Mulan Jameela are now pursuing solo career with varying degree of success, Maia recently recruited Mey Chan, a new comer in the music scene, as Ratu's vocalist. Ratu release 2 brand new singles with Mey Chan but have yet to release an album. Maia remain the sole contributor and writer in Ratu.
