Lilac Jeans is a passionate House music Producer/DJ duo of Linda Sikhosana (Menu) and Floyd Nkonyane (Floyd) From Soweto,South Africa. This has inevitably earned them a fanatical reputation in the House music scene. Before the Lilac Jeans brand was formed Linda and Floyd, were interested in quite divers elements of House music; However the release of their first and entry project released digitally "Lilac Jeans Ft. Snash - Zithande"scored Number One in 2011 they continued with another number One "Lilac Jeans Ft, Kimet Nuh - Inside" in 2014 on South African radio station Y-FM Hot 99 Dance Charts. Subsequently, remixes of "Zithande" were also chosen for a digital album compiled by SciFi Productions. This garnered Lilac Jeans local & international exposure for their quality music output. The buzz around their success caught the ear of a well known South African label called House Afrika Records who immediately placed them on remix duty on a project for a classic Pop record that made a lot of history in South Africa during the 80's by "Brenda Fassie titled 'Weekend Special'. Soon in 2014 they released their first album with the label tilled "Now Or Never" and they were selected by an American online store called Traxsource as their top 100 soulful artist of 2014 & 2015 . The Lilac Jeans brand of Jazzy, Afro, Club/ Soulful House music sound has undoubtedly established them in the higher echelons of the South African and International House music scene and they did a remix for a legendary singer performer Barbara Turker an African American house, R&B and Soul singer, songwriter and choreographer. Not only they have done well as House music Producers/ Remixers their DJ Sets have helped them create a strong following that caught the attention of Housefm.net the number one House music UK radio station, catch them every Fridays for their two hours show.
