Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds

One of the best performances I've ever seen. I can't believe Nick Cave's stamina and vocal quality after all these years. And he has such stage charisma. I wish I could experience it all over again. What a highlight of my year.

Absolutely fantastic performance. Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds were top notch. Of 5 shows, this was, by far, the best performance I have seen. A solid two and a half hour show. And a lovely memory of Rowland S Howard.

Absolutely brilliant the band was tight and music was fantastic. I would recommend for anyone to see Nick . The venue is great staff and setup are top tier. My son and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment. Thanks to Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds and kudos for Wild God's fantastic album!!

Never seen them before. Wasn't sure of what to expect but a great entertainer and band. Was an amazing show. He has so much charisma and the band so talented. Would recommend you see them if you get the chance

I'm not a huge fan of big venues like the hydro, however, when a performer with the skill, class, songs and band that Nick Cave possesses, he fills the space effortlessly and with some considerable rock 'n' roll élan. A fantastic experience, and Nick & The bad Seeds played for well over 2 hours! Big music as it should be.

I say this often after a concert but last nights Nick Cave gig was off the scale. He’s been on my bucket list for a long time and I was gutted when lockdown meant my last attempt at seeing him resulted in a cancelled gig. But my god did last night make up for it. Apart from a short departure from the stage for a few minutes before an encore, they played not stop for a solid two and half hours. There were tracks from right across the bands back catalogue and a great mix of high octane bangers through to exquisite ballads and everything in between. The track “I Need You” was phenomenally moving… I must have got some dust in my eyes… The best tracks (of which there were many) were the ones that built and built to an ecstatic crescendo, the four gospel backing singers adding to this in a way that made it feel like a spiritual experience for me!! Most of the new album Wild God featured which made me realise what a masterpiece this album truly is. I have no idea why I’ve just written such a long review of the gig, I’ve never done this before! I guess it’s a reflection of just how good it was. I left home for the gig feeling a bit broken by the events across the pond earlier in the day, I got home feeling healed. I love the power of music! 🎶☺️

Almost half of the setlist taken from the Wild God Of the older pieces I believe some were chosen because they were well suited to the powerful gospel choir accompanying the musicians. Nick in great form and able to alternate moments of emotional intensity at the piano with bursts of energy. The barrier-free stage encourages contact with the audience and the hand-holding, which until past tours happened by descending into the crowd, is now constant. One gets the feeling of having attended a religious service; by now Nick is a secular saint (not even too much) but his irony often dilutes this role. Great concert, see you on the next tour!

Ein grandioses Konzert.🤩 Die Setlist war eine absolut gelungene Mischung aus den neuen Titeln von Wild God und schon lange geliebten Hits, die von den Bad Seeds mitreißend gespielt wurden. Nick war charmant, fröhlich und richtig gut gelaunt. Er war bis auf wenige Pausen zum Klavierspielen ständig in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Publikum. Er hat Autogramme gegeben und war sehr kommunikativ. Das Konzert hat mehr als 2 1/2 Stunden gedauert. Wir freuen uns schon auf die nächste Gelegenheit, Nick und die Bad Seeds live zu erleben! 👍😍

The Australian legend Nick Cave once again delivered, proving in life-affirming fashion that he, along with The Bad Seeds, is still not to be missed when they're in the area. This time, the band was supported by four backing singers dressed in gospel-like robes, further reinforcing Cave's image as a preacher of rock – a brand he's made his own. The choir elevated the already hymn-like songs, particularly in 'Frogs' and 'Conversion', which, with full-on gospel vibes, stood out as climactic moments. Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds filled Royal Arena with both thunderous, massive crescendos and touching, heartfelt moments. We got to experience the full range of Cave as both a songwriter and live performer – from close physical contact with the audience at the edge of the stage to quiet moments at the piano. One of the most moving moments was the performance of 'Joy', a song from the new album. While the crowd cheered during the powerful songs, a reverent atmosphere lingered during the pauses, where the respect for Cave and his authority on stage was palpable. The evening fittingly ended with a subdued sing-along, with Cave alone at the piano performing 'Into My Arms'. After two and a half hours in the company of an icon who still has so much to offer, we hope retirement is far in the future." In short: Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds, supported by a choir with gospel vibes, filled Royal Arena with both thunderous crescendos and touching moments. An icon who still has much to give. The last star is half - only because the sound was in periods ruined by a load echo from the drums, from the other side of the arena.

Brilliant. Expectations were high, and Nick did not disappoint. Challenging Skeleton Key material was well executed and well received. Old favorites like From Her to Eternity and Red Right Hand brought the house down. The closer, Push the Sky Away, had Nick preaching to the faithful from the middle of the crowd - an amazing moment.

If you get the chance. Just do it. Sell your record collection. Sell your soul. Work 90 hours and buy as many tickets for you and your friends. You will never experience a better show in your lifetime.

His performance is hypnotizing. There is nothing in the world that can explain how he makes you feel, even days after the show you're in a daze. His performance was amazing, passionate, and just true art. I would definitely see him again.

Great concert - Nick and the six Seeds were very passionate. They took us for a ride through the painful and exciting impressions of a black mass followed by melancholic and lovely emotions. My personal highlight was the end time highs boson blues. Refreshing Rock'nRoll brought us back to reality.
