Exogenous - Melodic metal with influences of core

In the city Östersund in the woods of northern Sweden the melodic metal band Exogenous emerged. What started as a hobby project slowly formed into a serious band with the highest of goals. The debut EP Identity was released the 26:th of May 2017, both as physical hard copies and digitally on all the big sites. The following summer the band met success in the local radio with the song Freedom from the EP, which was on the top list P4-toppen for a total of ten weeks. In the fall that year Exogenous did a smaller tour with three shows in the southern parts of Sweden.

Exogenous musical style is melodic metal with characteristics of metalcore and post-hardcore. Brutal harsh vocals are mixed with softer clean vocals, heavy guitar breakdowns and melodic sweeping. Right now the band is working on new material for an upcoming full length album. The plans for 2018 also includes a bigger focus on live shows as well as publishing their own website.
