Shalamar

SHALAMAR & EVELYN “CHAMPAGNE” KING GIVE LAS VEGAS A NIGHT TO REMEMBER! Some concerts celebrate the music. Others bring an entire era back into the room. Shalamar and Evelyn “Champagne” King’s sold-out evening at Cannery C****o in Las Vegas did both—with soul, glamour, and the spirit of a family reunion. Howard Hewett, Jeffrey Daniel, and Carolyn Griffey brought Shalamar’s unmistakable blend of soulful vocals, style, and dance-floor magic to the stage. Together, they celebrated a musical legacy that continues to connect generations, turning an evening of entertainment into something personal for the fans who have carried these songs through their lives. Evelyn “Champagne” King was the perfect special guest for this celebration. Her powerhouse voice, infectious personality, and joyful energy embodied everything fans love about her. She brought the “Champagne” sparkle to a night overflowing with love for classic soul and dance music. One of the evening’s most meaningful highlights was the appearance of Gerald Brown, one of Shalamar’s original lead singers, performing “Take That to the Bank.” His presence offered a special connection to the group’s early history—a beautiful moment honoring the roots of a legacy still being celebrated today. Adding to the occasion were the many Soul Train dancer alumni in attendance. These were people who had been part of the culture that brought this music to life, sharing the room with the artists and fans who continue to treasure it. Their presence gave the evening the warmth and significance of a reunion. That was the magic of the Cannery concert: the connection between the music, the performers, and the people. A sold-out venue, beloved artists, a special homecoming, and a room filled with shared history made this a celebration worth remembering. Shalamar, Evelyn “Champagne” King, Gerald Brown, and the Soul Train family—Las Vegas couldn’t have asked for a more fitting “Night to Remember.”

Brilliant 🤩 Performed all the songs we know & love from the 70’s & 80’s. Loads of energy loads of dancing 💃. We were able to book great seats right at the front which was amazing. Would definitely see again. Jeffery Daniel is still cool 😎. Loved it.

Amazing show, group was on form, band were great. Such an electric atmosphere. Gwen Dickey supported and was fab ❤️

Amazing Performance ! Job well done

Absolutely fantastic. Thoroughly enjoyed the while experience. Venue and staff were wonderful too. X

A band who always deliver and engage
