Amazing voice, great Banter

Sarah appeared on stage - just she and her keyboard, and sang beautifully stripped down versions of her songs. Quietly spoken and pensive, she gave her all. The set would have been transcendent, had it not be for the dozens of immensely rude people who spoke/shouted over her music... THESE people had come to swill drinks and were waiting for Boy & Bear's set... They weren't here for Sarah. In my many years of gig going, it was one of the worst crowds of people I've experienced - Six foot six wannabe alpha males pushing through to the front to mark their territory, drunk thirty-something girls talking/screaming through the entire performance... everyone pushing each other around to get the best position from which to record the performance on their phone, rather than just staying in the moment to enjoy the music. The law of the jungle applies when there's general admission without allocated seating... and it's to the detriment of the entire performance. We won't be going to another gig there unless there's somewhere to sit next time. Sorry about the mob Sarah... you did your best.

A magnificent gig by a lovely, talented lady. No 5 stars, though, not on Sarah's account but the bad choice of venue. A woman who can pack the Sydney Opera House deserves somewhere less pokey - oops, I mean cosy! - for the sole French stop on a tour.

Aussie charm, angelic voice with a side of cheeky. Love Sarah and her soulful tunes! Keep them coming!
