Swamp da Wamp

Hailing from Charlotte, North Carolina, Swamp da Wamp is a powerhouse in the southern US region with an ever-growing national presence. Their sound is infused with an incredibly soulful bottom-end and an all-American vibe: it’s part rock n’ roll and part “modern Country”. Their music appeals to just about anyone and everyone, and they put on one hell of a show. Led by the charismatic singer/songwriter Gig Michaels, the seven-member band includes co-founder drummer David Lee and long-time band mate and power lead guitarist Keith “The Wizard” Inman. Also in the band are the incomparable Nick Nyguyen (Dobro, violin, mandolin, lead guitar), Duke Rivers (piano & B-3), Rich Basco (bass), and the gorgeous Adrienne Nixon (backing vocals). Swamp da Wamp redefines rock with their “down and dirty” vocals, tried-and-true collaborative songwriting style, and electric chemistry. After winning the prestigious “Best Rock Band 2013” at the Carolina Music Awards, in late 2013 Swamp da Wamp signed with Artists International Management (AIM).
