I moved from London in year 7 at which I made a fresh start in Eastbourne. I had been playing guitar as a side hobby from year 2, at which was something I wasn't really into. I used to listen to all kinds of music, and when I attended Ratton school, Mr Cain Hardy, who was my music teacher, influenced me to be more involved with it. I began beatboxing and practicing to him, and he encouraged me to keep it up, when he let me perform in his Ratton Gala Concert at the Congress theatre. This surprisingly had great responses from members of the audience, and I was overwhelmed and extremely encouraged to do more. I decided to take it onto the streets when a watcher recommended busking. My friend Lewis Harvey owned the equipment I needed to busk and I went for my first time in Eastbourne town. I made around £17.00 on my first time beatboxing and this was for 30 mins. I definitely wanted to do more. Eventually, we both began being busy at different times, so I thought I would try busking like others I had seen: Guitar, and vocals. Of course I had never sang properly, especially infront of a large audience, but I thought I might as well go for it. My first time was terrifying. Just me and a guitar.. I sang for about 4 hours and made 5 pounds, but I didn't let the amount of income get me down; It was a start. With the beatboxing and busking on my own, I managed to gain the money for the equipment I own today, and I am performing and busking on the street loud and clear as well as performing in various locations around the UK.
