About MTech
MTECH Mladen Banovic, a.k.a Mtech, was born on the 26th of February, 1990 in Belgrade. At the young age of 14, he started to develop a strong interest in electronic music, and immediately immersed himself into the art of the DJ. At age 20, eager to create his own sound, Mtech began to produce music — within 2 years, he enjoyed his first bit of success by signing his first contract with the Croatian label "Sound Lab". In February 2013, he published his first EP "Russia". Eager to hear more from the young artist, listeners and fellow producers alike, pushed Mtech to continue writing great music, leading to the creation of several EPs, namely "332 Miles", "Life in the Box" and "Yellow". In 2015, Mtech formed the duo "Empty-Headed", a collaboration between Mtech and Dino Rastoder, artistically known as Dino R. Between the two, they have successfully released more than 10 remixes. Within the same year, Mtech kicked off his own radio show on "Insomnia FM" radio, gracing the studio with big-name guest artists such as Steve Mulder, Alen Milivojevic, Gene Karz, David Temessi, Sutter Cane, and Dario Sorano, to name a few. 2016 would become a crucial year for Mtech, leading to a handful of successful releases like "Multiple Lies" for Parabola; "Pink Speed EP" for Driving Forces Recordings; VA for Dolma Records; "Cutting Through" for Eclipse Recordings; "Bad Karma EP" for De-Konstrukt; and "Angry Elephant EP" for Black Square Recordings. But apart from big releases, 2016 also became a year of notable performances for this young Serbian artist. Mtech's name could be seen at gigs spanning all over Montenegro and his home country, Serbia, making a strong presence at famous regional festivals. Today, Mtech is recognised in the scene as a very successful and promising young artists, receiving great reviews from his audience, as well as many well-known producers who have worked with him, and well-respected record labels. Now, Mtech has opened many doors for himself, publishing new materials for the above-mentioned labels he currently releases with, while constantly cooperating with some of the 'biggest and baddest' performers, DJs, and musicians in today's techno scene. EMPTY-HEADED Empty-Headed is a Techno duo formed in 2015 by Mladen Banovic (Mtech) and Dino Rastoder (Dino R.). The project was initiated by these two young artists in order to create a unique concept of underground electronic music. In March 2015, Empty-Headed collaborated with local event organizations in order to establish their own program, where they host parties in well-known clubs such as "Maximus" in Kotor, Montenegro. They have had the pleasure of hosting international DJs and producers like Sutter Cane, Dario Sorano, Tom Hades, and Petar Dundov. Eventually, the parties continued to grow along the lush and beautiful Montenegrin coastal city, reeling in massive artists like Irregular Synth, Spartaque, Steve Mulder, Fernanda Martins, Lukas Freir, Juliana Jamasaki, Marika Rossa and others. Empty-Headed's performances in Montenegro were eventually made into a radio show, with the purpose to promote world-renowned artists as well as local DJs, in order to fortify the Montenegrin music scene. Today, this flourishing project is now supported by daily news organizations like Dan, Vijesti, and various Facebook pages who work to promote electronic music, such as "Only Clubbing", "Clubs and Parties", "The Clubber", "CDM", "Underground Music Scene", "I love Minimal Techno", "Say Techno", "Techno 777", and "Rave Art", along with others.
