Marty Friedman was literally legendary, I’m so glad I got to see him perform and be able to bring home a guitar pick as well!!

I gave 5 stars because there wasn’t more. He is amazing and his backing band were awesome too. He played every style of rock in 4 songs that lasted about an hour crunch, clean, blues, pop, and more. Everything was flawless.
The personalities of his band made the experience even better. The drummer was a madman! Ultra talented, playful and fun. I hope he doesn’t wait 6 years before touring America again.

So, I didn't know what to expect from Marty Friedman. I Googled him before the show and found that his band was from Japan. As soon as they started playing, WOW. They really knew how to play, and I would definitely go see them again. They definitely did what Marty said they'd do and inject some Japanese energy into the crowd,to put it nicely! 😉 Go see them if you want some killer music. One other thing, I think he's right about his drummer Chargeeee being from another f....in
planet!

About Marty Friedman
Marty Friedman (born December 8, 1962 in Washington, D.C.) has become recognized worldwide as a guitarist and composer of consummate skill and a style of playing that is instantly recognizable as uniquely his. Marty is a self-taught guitarist famous for his natural improvisation abilities and for pioneering the fusion of exotic Eastern musical scales with Western musical styles such as neo-classical, thrash metal and later on into rock, pop, jazz, metal and anything in between. Going beyond traditional scales, Marty often arpeggiates the chords he is playing over, his picking technique is unorthodox and his bends and vibrato are very distinctive.
