Welcome Coffee

Welcome Coffee is a rock-alternative music project formed in Trieste (Italy) in 2012 by Stefano Ferrara and Alessandro Pollicardi. The basic idea of the project is to mix various musical sounds without identifying a particular genre, giving free rein to the attitude of the individual musicians. In 2013 they released their first work “Box # 2“, a 5 track EP. Immediately start the “DATA ZERO TOUR” with dates in Italy and Slovenia. In January 2014 they record a new single called “Sleepwalker” and from April to June 2014 start for the “MANEKI NEKO TOUR.” From July 2014 barricade themselves in a room for the recording of the first official CD titled “Uneven” due out in January 2015 the album entirely self-produced by the band, consists of 11 representative songs of the various world of sound of the band: rock, pop, prog and funky blend together. From January to August of 2015 the Welcome Coffee perform in around Italy for the “UNEVEN TOUR.” In December 2015 due to musical differences the band split, deciding to make one last celebratory live in Trieste, the band’s hometown. In February 2016, Stefano Ferrara (founder and bass player) and Andrea Parlante (keyboards) decide to take the project forward looking for the missing band element, and after months finally ends the search for it, join in the project: Davide Angiolini (drums), Andrea “Armando” Scarcia (vocals) e Bill Lee Curtis (guitars), some songs are retrieved and new material will be composed. In April 2017 they record a new Ep called “The Mirror Show” with a brand new lineup and sound.
