Nailbomb

Lifechanging gig. Picked up Nailbomb way back and got into every Cavalera project since. Both Soulfly and Nailbomb were great in their own ways, though my neck was already worn out at the openers, who were also out of this world. I was at the front row when Nailbomb came out and I won't even deny that I was screaming for Max like a fangirl. To have the amount of stage presence that he does at his age is beyond me. Though 2 songs in I already went into the pits and stayed there rest of the set. When they played Cockroaches it was probably the best moshpit of my life, and I say that knowing full well I got a liver shot halfway through the song. Honestly I was kinda glad they took a break before Soufly since the pits had me exhausted and dehydrated, but it was fine since I grabbed some free water and was ready to come right back for Soulfly. Their set was mindblowing too, this was my first time seeing them live so I was really charmed by experiencing their tribal theatrics live. Loved it when Max brought out a traditional Brazilian instrument and began playing it, that shocked and impressed me at the same time. Proud to say I've graduated from a Soulfly listener to a member of the Soulfly Tribe🤘🤘🤘 Also I'm thankful that they decided to perform in a relatively small venue comparing to the arenas most of bands their size perform in, I was mainly able to see them because I didn't have to drive all the way to London from the south coast. The ticket price was also great: £27 quid to see Soulfly, Nailbomb, and even a banging opener? What a steal! Excellent gig through and through. Max made eye contact with my friend at the beginning of the Nailbomb set and gave him a little fist pump signal, it was pretty sick. Sadly I couldn't catch a Max pick when he threw them out, but I saw one of the many crowd surfers get his attention to obtain one, so I'll probably try that next time I see them, which I fully intend to do. Amazing bands, amazing gig, best night of my life!!🤘🤘🤘

My first time seeing Nailbomb, and I was very impressed! I only found out the day before the festival that Max Cavalera fronted this band, so to see him play back to back with Soulfly was an experience I'll never forget!

Show was awesome! Max, Igor and the crew rocked. Openers were fun. The area is totally sketchy - park at your own risk!
