Mutecell

Dj and producer Mutecell (Kevin O'keeffe) was born in the tropical island of Mauritius of Anglo-Irish ancestry early years where spent in Botswana and Mauritius.By the age of 16he had already developed skills in mixing music.At the age of 17 he left the island to live in London where he spent 2 years mixing in small clubs and connecting closer to the underground world of music, with a move over to france followed where he continued to play in small clubs and bars in Bordeaux and surrounding areas. Mutecell returned to Mauritius in 2005 and started to make his name and own parties on the local scean.He was much in demand in the new clubs and events as his own particular style and music taste grew in popularity.Mutecell has played alongside djs such as Joseph Capriati,Radio Slave, D,Julz and more to mention.His main influences have been varied through the years, Mutecell has been producing and remixing under his name in mid 2012 just after his move to Berlin where he now lives and holds his Recordlabel Mutewax. for booking info@aphonia.de
