In 2012, Orchyd was assembled from a pile of broken drum beats, droning melodies, gritty riffs, old gears and light bulbs. Lofi words with subliminal meanings. A pulse from a sky that you saw when you were dreaming. The rhythms emerge from the space between hip hop and drone rock. The melody was born of blues and aggravation. The words are sad and addictive. It pulls you in like the song of a siren. It's a tribal pattern. The stage is set. Bare bulbs and flood lights.
