Seibaz

Seibaz is a multi-talent who is carving his own path into the modern entertainment world and the Canadian music scene. As both a seasoned veteran musician in the Montreal music scene as well as venturing into the DJ world, he has enabled himself to express his creativity under multiple platforms. Born and raised in Montreal, the Spanish/Quebecois multi-instrumentalist found his calling in music as a teenager playing drums in a Metallica cover band. Sebastien’s love of music, from Metallica and Foo Fighters to Janet Jackson and Adele, he has approached music with an open mind and a quest for musical knowledge. He was the vocalist and guitarist in the hard rock band Dook for nine years (2000-9) until joining the then-revamped Slaves on Dope as their bass player in 2009. He joined them on the Careless Coma EP (2011) and Over The Influence (2012) releases. He also directed the band’s “Pork Sword” , “Careless Coma” and "Unraveling" videos. Outside of live music, Sebastien has explored the DJ world, which helped explore a different aspect of his musical interests. Experimenting with electronic music has introduced him to a different way of exploring his creativity. “My curiosity about DJing started before even touching the drums. I just didn't have the money or influence to start a DJ career. I started listening more seriously to House music in 2010 and had the chance to make some good friends in the DJ world.” Through multiple platforms, Sebastien shows his many angles of his talents. But the power of the music, regardless of playing in a band or DJing, is how he wants to get his message across. “My dream is to make as many people dance and feel good when I’m playing my songs and other artist songs.
