About Krang
Krang is a four-member punk rock band from the Czech Republic and started in 2015. The band consists of Dan (guitar, vocals), Henny (drums, vocals), Stanley (bass), and Gabo (guitar). The band's name is inspired by the villain Krang from the animated series Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Since their formation, Krang has released four studio albums. Their debut album, Baddest Brain, was released in 2015. It was followed by Singalong in 2018 and Make Arcade Great Again in 2021, which was released under the Austrian label SBÄM Records and the American Sound Speed Records. Their latest album, Listens To Krang Once, was released in 2024 again under SBÄM Recods. Krang's music is characterized by fast, melodic punk rock with two main vocals and frequent references to pop culture from the '80s and '90s, including Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Rambo movies or Gilmore Girls. At the same time, their songs often reflect current social and political issues.
The band is known for its active touring, not only in the Czech Republic but also abroad. Over the years Krang toured countries such as Japan, Mexico, Brazil, USA, many countries across Europe and performed at major festivals such as Rock for People, Punk Rock Holiday, SBÄM Fest, Brakrock or Mighty Sounds. They have also had the opportunity to support bands like The Offspring, Descendents, Zebrahead, Useless ID, Less Than Jake, and many others.
