Gigantalope

It started in 2012 when Kody (vocals) and Scott (bass) met through a mutual friend. Kody played in a band called Ih5 from Corpus Christi who had played with Papa Roach, Ludacris, Powerman 5000, Sevendust, Kottonmouth Kings, Fat Joe, Coheed and Cambria, The Used, Bad Religion, and Alkaline Trio. Scott's band had shared the stage with Slipknot, Mudvayne, Nickelback, Anthrax, Nonpoint, Slaves on Dope, One Minute Silence, Amen, Dangerous Toys, No One, Hatebreed, and American Head Charge. Scott and Kody quickly became close friends and decided to start a project. Gerald (guitar) entered the group next and the band started to take on it's sound. After some drummer changes, the group really came together with Ricky (drums). The band wrote and perfected an album that pieces together elements of Funk, southern metal, New Orleans Jazz, and Blues giving the band a unique style and party atmosphere.
