ZooL.

Zool. is an artist alias of Gerry Vergult who has a long history in the Belgian rockscene as guitarplayer/composer of Aroma Di Amore. In 2003 his fascination for electronic music, such as Aphex Twin, Boards Of Canada or Four Tet, led to the launch of the Zool. project. At first the music was merely laptop based indietronica, but through the years and the consecutively releases, Gerry's guitar gained more and more attention.
In 2004 Zool. released his first ep 'Ep One', followed by 'Ep Two' in 2005 and in the following years six albums saw the light of day: 'Vadem' in 2006. 'Camera' in 2009, 'Ballroom Blitz' in 2014, 'Bombykol' in 2017, 'The Time Remaining' in 2021 and 'Humanity/Empathy (with Butsenzeller) in 2022.
