Jd and Adam are killer performers and great down to earth human beings who appreciate and share there time generously with there fans !

Great performance and personable evening. Like we were all hanging out in his basement. Few funny stories and some that remind you he was a youngin' when he started.

We love JD, seen numerous times, he is a great guitar player!!!

JD was superb. Just as I expected. However, I was disappointed that he was only on for 45 minutes as a preliminary before Tab Benoit. The advertising that I got from BandsInTown didn't note that. Hence, I believe that I was mislead.

Jd and Adam are the best in business, really appreciate there fans and took the time visit with me more than they would have had to, down to earth straight up great humans. Forever a fan!

JD Simo is the real deal. I have listened to and enjoyed a lot of his recorded music but this was my first time seeing him live and there's some magic in his performance that is missed by the recording studio. He breathes new life into the blues genre, his playing is noticeably free of cliche "blues" licks and posturing. His songs are still clearly rooted in a rich history of American music but with a fresh sounding approach that I find very appealing. Earls however is sort of a clunky space that is mainly a restaurant with a stage in the corner. I do appreciate them booking JD. I'll go see JD Simo again. Hopefully in a real music venue.

JD IS THE BEST he blows it out of the water every time. Him and his crew are so nice and just down to earth. The concert hall was lovely.

The two openers were both great, but…wow. JD was so good!! The room was fairly empty, which it shouldn’t have been. But, it was a Thursday night. Man, he can play, and his singing was awesome. The band was perfection. Can’t wait to see him again. Worth the long drive.

I had never seen or heard of him before, but Simo's blues infused rock was enough for a full standing ovation.

JD is a guitar virtuoso and his rhythm section is tight. His show was spirited and high energy. My only criticism is that I wanted more blues (he’s a Chi-town guy after all) and less screaming guitar mashing. He has a great voice but it’s lost in all the noise. Still a big fan but he’d capture perhaps a larger audience with a more nuanced approach.

He is a God. Love the vibe of the band. Everyone in the band is so funky, and seemed to be having a great time. Every song was extended with mind blowing solos from every band member. Killer show, would love to see him again.

Outstanding! JD ‘s guitar skills are second to none! Musically talented band members shine in their own rite!

Simo and his bandmates are awesome. Each was memorizing and can really rock. Great show!

Holy head bobbing!!! Fourth time time rockin out to Simo. Can't wait to delve deeper with my vinyl of 'Rise and Shine.' Their record release jam at Dawson Street Pub rocked the place!!! Such amazing tunes from only three instruments!! JD's vocals and strumming are intoxicatingly intriguing. I will never miss a Sumo concert in my area, fun times!!!

Simo puts on a great show, and he's as nice and humble as can be.

Bar none one of the best shows I've seen in years. Anyone who didn't come missed out big time.
