Seppuku

Seppuku is a Melbourne-based Thrash Metal band, founded and formed by guitarist Denis Sudzuka in 2009. Seppuku’s main influences are the 80s wave of Thrash Metal acts such as: Megadeth, Kreator, Testament, Exodus, Tankard, Forbidden, Overkill, Anthrax, Annihilator, Mortal Sin and many NWOBHM bands. They have since developed their very own hard-hitting signature style, with pounding riffs and blazing, melodic solos. Their musical sense of humour combined with apocalyptic and anti-political lyrics makes Seppuku a diverse and unique sounding band. Highlights: • Seppuku supported Sydney Thrash Metal legends Mortal Sin, at Sadistic Feast Festival in April 2011. • Seppuku released their five-song demo, titled 'First Cut' in April 2011. • In February 2012, Seppuku supported Bosnian Hard Rock/Heavy Metal legends Divlje Jagode in Melbourne at The Hi-Fi on their 2012 Australian Tour, playing to a crowd of 300 people. • Seppuku is currently recording their 6-track EP, set for release on March 8th at the launch show, with an east coast tour to follow.
