Cruiserweight is a rock/pop/punk band from Austin, Texas. Band members include: Stella Maxwell (vocals), Urny Maxwell (guitar), Dave Hawkins (bass), and Yogi Maxwell (drums).
The band has one full length record out on Doghouse Records entitled, "Sweet Weaponry", and will release its second (yet untitled) record in 2007. Before signing a contract with Doghouse Records, the band self-released two E.P.s, "First Day of School" (1999) and "This Will Undoubtedly Come Out Wrong" (2002). Both E.P.s, along with some previously unreleased songs, alternate versions, and new demos, are available on "The Push and Pull".
