It was an amazing show with Phonte and Rapper Big Pooh in a fantastic venue. Once again Seattle doesn’t disappoint! Real Hip hop lives in Seattle and I love coming up here from Cali to experience hip hop in a different part of the country. Met some great hip hop heads that told me about another show the next night! Mad love to Kung Fu Vinyl! So glad I came up from Cali to see Little Brother in a real Seattle venue! Love that place and I’m sure I’ll be back for another hip hop show!

About Phonte
Phonte (b. Phonte Coleman) is an American rapper and a member of acclaimed North Carolina trio, Little Brother. His rhymes tend to be no-frills tales of working-class life. In addition to records by Little Brother, Phonte has also released a collaboration album with Dutch producer Nicolay under the group name Foreign Exchange, entitled Connected, and guested on numerous records by other artists, most notably from the Justus League collective. He has recorded R&B-flavoured output as a singer under the name Percy Miracles.
He has been featured on DJ Shadow's release, titled The Outsider. Phonte has also spoken of his up-coming group called G.I.M.M.I.E. (Great Individuals Make the Most of Everything) with fellow Justus League members Chaundon and Rapper Big Pooh.
