OBE, moniker of Alessandro Campagna, is a composer, producer and singer-songwriter. His music is characterized by a use of piano, strings, voice and electronics.
He also works as a composer for TV and cinema.
He began his journey in the musical world by initially publishing only piano compositions, but soon began to write for orchestra as well. When electronic music arrived, he thought he had found his own balance for composing but in 2023 he casually started writing a song, thus discovering a new means of communication.
His musical genre varies depending on the period, although all his music still has a common thread, which is to compose with a cinematic style.
He starts with the EP Memories, which has a purely neoclassical style, and then moves on to film music with The Tree (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) and L'equilibrista con la stella (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack). Electronic music instead arrives with the single Lucid Dream.
In his debut album, Reverse, OBE recounts this journey he experienced with music.
The genre of the world is on fire and echoes is defined by OBE as Cinematic Pop.
