Darren Senn

Engaging his audiences with storytelling and a rich blend of country, folk, rock and blues, Daren Senn is sure to take you keep you entertained. His latest release, Nothing Comes From Nowhere certainly has a little dose of everything, from the humor of “Talking Wrong Password Blues” and “If This Barstool Could Fly,” to the nostalgic look back at simpler times in “Gone are The Days.”

Darren has taken most of his songwriting influence from master storytellers like John Prine, Townes Van Zandt and Guy Clark, to name a few. It comes through in his songs, about which he has this to say: "Nothing Comes From Nowhere is the latest chapter in my quest for self-discovery. I have embraced the journey of finding my own true voice, and take great pleasure mining bits and pieces from the legends. That's one of the reasons I chose this title. These guys have helped guide me to the light.”

Over the last twenty years Darren has played all around Northern Nevada, Northern California and his home state of Oregon on stages and venues big and small, opening for such acts as the Dead Winter Carpenters, the Brothers Comatose, David Bromberg and Ray Bonneville. He has an impressive arsenal of cover songs to go along with his own and is constantly honing his craft as a guitar player, writer and performer.

He currently resides in Stateline, Nevada.
