The Organics

The Organics are a progressive, alternative rock band with punk and metal influences. Songs generally contain socially conscious, classic existential, political, or new age spiritually inspired lyrics. Driven by catchy melodies and epic storytelling, each song has a life and meaning all of its own while maintaining room for interpretation and self expression. This is complimented in the music by meshing powerful raw guitars and bass with heavy hitting drums. Many have compared The Organics to the likes of Iron Maiden, Bad Religion, The Misfits, Roky Erickson and many other punk and rock & roll powerhouses, all of which have contributed to inspiring the music that has come to define The Organics. As they put their foot down in a world of clashing cultures and parasitic technological preoccupations, The Organics have come together to put forth their passion for artistic expression and to reach out to the masses with an energy filled musical experience. Originating in San Marcos, Texas The Organics have been together for a few years now with a four piece band including Robin Friend on vocals and lead guitar, Josh Schaefer on bass, Brian Carlisle on drums and "Bosto" Paul McCartney on lead and rhythm guitar. The Organics are also actively looking to expand horizons through various radio outlets and to reach fans in other areas.
