SEKTA

Групата е създадена през 2005 г. от Нели Tотева и Жоро Варамезов, в София. След дълго търсене на подходящи музиканти за проекта, към групата се присъединяват Деян Драгиев - Даката и Моцарт. Музиката и текстовете са дело на Жоро и Нели. Проектът се свири и с наемни и гост музиканти. В момента SEKTA подготвят втория си албум, с пилотно парче "Тhe room". If you want to hear alternative metal rock with progressive elements, heavy riffs and unusual melodies, blended with philosophical insight and mysticism, then SEKTA is the right band. With their album "Elements" they make a commendable attempt to reach their audience in a fine and subtle, but categorical way, far from the complexities of modernism. A creator-musician's endeavour is incomplete without the perceiving public. SEKTA present their music, hoping that the listener will apprehend it in their own individual and intimate way. The songs are like enchanting dreams, raising questions and immersing you into the abstract. The lyrics, written by the band's lead singer Nely, are inspired by ancient wisdom and fairy tales. From the bright moths nabbed by the light in "Elements"; and the fields sown with dragon scales in "Medieval"; to Tolkien's Smeagol torn by the struggle between the shining white and the beautiful black. SEKTA was created by the composer-guitarist George and the theorist-vocalist Nely. The band's sound is enhanced by Dakata's engaging drumming skills and Mozart's superb bass lines. СЕКТА е проект.
