ScarCity

Scar City is a four piece metal band from the Tampa Bay area of Florida formed 2009. When drummer Danny and bassist Armand started jamming together for fun they noticed they were making something that could go somewhere so they started the search for a guitarist. After a few try outs they hadn't found the sound they were looking for that was until Scott came in and they knew they found a fit. The music started flowing and soon came the task of finding a vocalist to match the powerful sound they had going. Just so happens right around that time a vocalist from another band had just parted ways and a mutual friend said they should get together and see what happens. In June of 2009 Alec came out to practice and Scar City was formed. One month later they had their first show with Straight Line Stitch, Ekotren and End of the Rope. With a weird turn the venue catching fire the night before the show they packed into a small bar next door and the show proved that Scar City was ready for anything fate can throw at them. Always evolving they have progressed very fast and began to turn heads everywhere they played. They are not a band you want to miss because you never know what you will see. As of 2011 they are working on their first full length album and to knowing that their fans only deserve the best are making sure it comes out with the same power the music live holds. They know the time is now to show everyone what they can do and with their mind set they can do anything. Mixing genres from metal to hard rock they can play with just about anyone and still get the place moving as was showed in their February 2011 show with Ocean's Divide, Royal Bliss and Bobaflex.
