Sweet Leaf SF Bay Area Sabbath/Ozzy tribute

Formed by Lance Ozanix (Skitzo) in 1994, this version of the band has been together since 1999, and still going some 29 years later! Celebrating our 30th year in 2024!
Sweet Leaf is the longest running Bay Area tribute to Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne's solo career, paying careful attention to the first 8 records of the classic era of the band, along with focus on the Randy Rhoads era of Ozzy Osbourne's solo career, a favorite of lead guitarist Steve Smyth (Vicious Rumors, Testament, Nevermore, Forbidden, Dragonlord, The EssenEss Project,Ariah). Rounded out by drummer Chris Newman (Intense, Ariah) and bassist Steve Hoffman (Ariah, The EssenEss Project), the band plays a 3 hour set every time they play, delivering the classic metal goods to satisfied fans in California, or wherever they are called.
The band also rounds their set with songs from the Jake E. Lee and Zakk Wylde eras of Ozzy's solo output, as well as a few fan favorite tracks from the Dio era of Black Sabbath.
Over the last several years, Sweet Leaf has incorporated an acoustic set within their normal set of 2 hours, creating a different atmosphere within the set as they play Sabbath classics alongside some fan favorites from the first two Ozzy records.
