About Harlot Church
Harlot Church have been around since 2012. With a lot of material recorded and as yet unreleased. Due to multiple break ups and the Atlantic Ocean now in between long time friends, collaborators, and band mates Pat & Hippi.
Original line up was Patrick J, (The Laker Test), Hippi (Charger, ALLONEWORD, DC-9), Jim Palmer (Ragging Speedhorn, Charger, Murder One, Space Witch) but the debut album that isn't, still isnt. As yet unreleased, the self titled album is a mysterious hole in the discography. 10 years in the making, and with HC finally making progress with their label, Future Noise Recordings (UK), this may see this the light of day.
HC are now regressing into a raw, primal, tape saturated, psychedelic trip far heavier and darker than any previous output.
Far and away removed from their previous sound of a heavily punk influenced desert rock, this maturity has a total disregard for shimmer, or production hours, instead channeling an experimental swagger of old telepathic energy oozing into the groove.
Both members of HC are not shy about their heavy drug use and alcoholism. Which is a huge part of the Harlot Church sound.
