About Orange Doors

Alternative psychedelia draped in unfamiliar nostalgia.

New album "Slap Happy" set for release in spring of 2019. Four singles available on Soundcloud (Disenchant, Splash, Magenta, Sip).

On our upcoming album "Slap Happy" we explore an unprecedented dystopia characterized by a precarious balance of uneasiness and ephemeral hope. Fluid guitar melodies accompanied by gleaming brass and complimentary synth lines carry the listener through the static hum of this gloomy and whimsical dystopia.

While this album will be somewhat of a departure from our light-hearted and dance-able tracks like "Noggin" and "Undergaze" that appeared on our previous record "Mush", we have retained and even developed our eccentric use of instrumentation and time.
