About Absurd Minds
Absurd Minds was founded in 1995 by Stefan Großmann and Tilo Ladwig. Timo Fischer joined the band in the early 2000s. Former live supporter and later full member Nick has completed the band's line-up since 2003.
Their unique style combines genres like synthpop, futurepop and darkwave. The result is extremely melodic songs with strong vocal lines that create captivating soundscapes that combine danceable elements with lyrical profundity.
Philosophical questions of being, social challenges and interpersonal interactions become a connection between band and listener through Stefan's lyrics and catchy vocals.
After a long creative break, the four musicians released the record "Tempus Fugit" in 2017, followed by "Sapta", their seventh longplayer, in 2020.
And now, after almost 3 years, comes GRAVITAS, the forerunner to the album of the same name.
The album will be released on 24.11.2023.
