Roxy Music

Amazing gig; the original band back together apart from Eno, and all played superbly. Great musicians accompanied them including terrific backing singers. They played the hits of course but a decent amount of tracks from most of the albums Phil Manzanera was simply stunning on his guitar solos, particularly on In Every Dream Home a Heartache Andy Mackay’s still sooo good on sax Paul Thompson still played solid powerhouse drums throughout Bryan Ferry was fabulous on keyboards and his voice was stronger than I thought it would be, with his usual energy in delivery . I really hope that they will be encouraged by the reception given to them by the audience to come out again and do another tour, particularly for fans in the other bits of the UK, as the tour only went to Glasgow, Manchester and London. It’s easy for us to access London but maybe a couple of gigs in the Midlands, North East and South West plus Wales, Ireland and other parts of Scotland might have gone down well. Come back guys anytime you like!

IT WAS AMAZING PURE CLASS

Great sound - Bryan's voice still strong and clear. Band excellent., backing singers classy and fun. Only disappointment for a 50 year celebration was some of the biggest hits were missing from the set, in favour of lesser reknowned album tracks. It was an occasion to give the fans of fifty years the full 'Greatest Hits' list. Hence only 4 Stars. But still a great concert and I hope they'll tour again.

I have seen some great bands this year such as The Eagles, and Duran Duran for this time. The chance to see a Roxy Music show live was the most unlikely I thought I would ever see! They started with The Main Thing from Avalon album,and there’s quite a few songs from Avalon in the show like To Turn You On, Avalon, and More Than This. A selection of songs from the first two albums Ladytron, and Bogus Man from For Your Pleasure. Every Dream Home a Heartache were highlights with powerful guitar playing from Phil Manzanera. A great selection of the Roxy hits were also well received by the crowd like The Strand, Love is The Drug, Dance Away and Oh Yeah On the Radio. Two other songs from Flesh and Blood Same Old Scene and My only Love were all played brilliantly well. The band finished with thier first hit single Virgina Plain which got the loudest cheer of all! A great show from the band with Bryan Ferry still in good voice with original members Andy Mackay on saxophone and oboe , Phil Thompson on Drums and Phil Manzanera on guitar all giving strong performances. If this is the final appearance of Roxy Music after 50 years then they said goodbye to thier fans with great style and much panache!..

Totally Cool

Wow it was Amazing a full 13 member band they didn’t skimp on anything. Awesome Graphics, Sound was perfect. I last saw them in 1977

It wasn’t at TD garden it was at MGM. The show was great the ticketing was a mess. I paid nearly 400 for two seats and ended up with SRO!

FABULOUS concert! I’ve always wanted to see them, and I wasn’t disappointed. They’ve still got it!!

Great show, a good selection of songs through their career. The band was tight considering it was their 50th anniversary tour, and Bryan Ferry sang well for his age.

Loved St.Vincent , I think a stadium isn't the place to see roxy music as there more mellow and quiet.

Great screen displays of the band and its lighting. great performances from this large member band .music was smooth and classicly layed back that You'd expect from this goodold crooner. Didn't care for St Vincent .
