Rhona Macfarlane

Rhona Macfarlane is a young singer songwriter from Scotland. She is a multi-instrumentalist at ease on the violin, piano or guitar and plays violin for the National Youth Orchestra of Scotland. She has been a regular at the Montrose Music Festival and 2015 was a year where her live performances reached new audiences including the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Perthshire Amber and the renowned Danny Kyle open stage at Celtic Connections. She completed a tour as part of “Hit the Road” and played live on the Janice Forsyth show on BBC Radio Scotland. Her single Remembrance was played on the Jim Gellatly show on Amazing Radio and she was featured as Scotland on Sunday’s Artist of the Week. She has recently been selected to perform at the Music for Youth Exchange, the Gardyne Youth Music Initiative and has accepted a place to study at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
