Animal Throwdown

Hailing from Gladstone QLD, Animal Throwdown is a 6 piece Hard Rock band that is known for its second to none energetic live shows and catchy hard hitting tunes. 2016 is turning out to be a big year for Thowdown with exciting things planned for the back end of the year. Forming in late 2012 out of a garage, the band has made quite a name for itself around the Central Queensland region after winning Zinc GLNG’s 2013 and 2014 Gladstone Battle of the Bands along with scoring highly in Easterfest’s 2013 Spotlight Competition. Animal Throwdown has gained a steady following from playing shows around Queensland all the way from Brisbane to Mackay including being the headlining act at Just Rock Festival in 2015. They have played alongside premier Australian Acts such as Young Chozen, New Empire, Slip on Stereo, AIRPORTS and MORE! As of 2014, Animal Throwdown are now official partners with Baptist World Aid and will be promoting some of their campaigns.
