Brandi and the Alexanders is a soul band inspired by legends such as Erykah Badu, Lauryn Hill, Marvin Gaye, Shuggie Otis, Fleetwood Mac, and contemporaries like Black Pumas, Khruangbin, Anderson.Paak and Tame Impala.
The band has carved out a reputation for their captivating psychedelic soul and infectious grooves. Lead singer Brandi Thompson is a powerful fiery vocalist who brings people to tears, smiles, and dance moves inside a single chorus. They’ve performed at festivals such as AmericanaFest, NY’s Pleasantville Festival, Chicago’s Ribfest, Tryon Blues Festival, Ladybug Festival, Toonerville Music Festival, and more.
In 2022, Brandi and the Alexanders released their 'Reflection' EP, showcasing the band's versatility with disco-club gems, slow-burn soul, and majestic gospel, earning praise from music publications such as Pop Matters, Earmilk, BandsDoBK, No Depression, and more.
Brandi and the Alexanders are set to release a new EP in 2024, with a new single, “Perfectly Imperfect,” slated for release this February.
