Jackie Greene

Whether solo, with a full band, featuring in another’s or like this show, just jamming with his long time mate Nathan Dale. Jackie remains arguably my favorite singer. His ability on the guitar, piano, harmonica, etc is so underrated. He’s never written a bad lyric or sang an off note in the 20 years I’ve followed him. He Also happens to be the best cover song singer/player and best glue guy on stage, ever. He’s just a 5 star everything! IYKYK and I Can’t wait to see him again and again.

Jackie & Cousin Curtis sounded great! The venue was nice for the smaller crowd that was there so it worked out. The bartender was also great and made some nice drinks. The sound system at the Basement complemented both bands. Jackie really sounds amazing & was hoping he'd draw a larger crowd as he deserves it.

Jackie, Jeremy, Nate, Uncle Bruce and friend bass player were ON FIRE!! The show was awesome ---they played over 16 songs for 2+ hours. A great show. KUDOS to Moe's for all the upgrades they have completed at the venue. I have been going there for years and the place is so nice....even clean restrooms :-) :-) Thank you!!!

Jackie, Nathan and Uncle Spence and band were GREAT ! We were 4 rows from the stage on right side of theatre....the sound was a bit off... we moved over to the left side and it agreeably seemed better... Beautiful historic theatre!!

Only respect and appreciation for this amazing and no frills artist/performer. He doesn’t need them. His talent to lift others up speaks for itself. Beautiful spirit in this beautiful SO TALENTED human being. His heart is revealed through his songs and through family and, especially being a father to 2 wee cutie pies. When Covid Kept everyone home, Jackie streamed, weekly, FREE , for his fans…old and young, who all love the man and his music! Love and respect, always TM #True fan since 2001.

Wow! Excellent show! Not a lot people showed up there at the elegant City Winery, but sometimes I like that. Amazing food but expensive. Lilly Winwood opened up for Jackie Greene and his two other guitar players. He soulfully played his guitar and harmonica and sang, but mid-concert it got really special when Jackie sat down at the piano and sang. Also, Lilly sat in at one point, and she did a wonderful job. My favorite part of this show was when Jackie covered the Grateful Dead's "Ship of Fools." I wore my Sugaree shirt hoping he would play that, because he's known to do a beautiful one. He did not, but I am not complaining! I would recommend anyone who likes good music to see Jackie Greene (and Lilly Winwood, too, for that matter). I would recommend the City Winery to anyone, especially if you can splurge a little every now and then for a very nice meal and a fine selection of adult beverages. Even if you don't buy anything other than the show tickets, it's still a peaceful, intimate, candlelit venue with friendly people, making it especially perfect for dates! 5 out of 5 stars! - Reed Rosson

This was the last of a string of multiple shows at Crystal Bay for NYE . It was drawn out as there were 2 days of hanging out between Sun. and Wed. bash but worth it . Bummer was not having a room at Cal-Neva which closed before this and is still vacant .

Jackie Green and the rest of the band were just outstanding! I had never heard of him until recently and I was just amazed on how talented this man is!! Thank you Jackie Green and band for one of the best New Year’s Eve I’ve had!!!

...another fantastic show, and Blue Rose Benefit🥰...also love that you had some great new merch!...was thrilled to purchase the Throckmorton show CD, as I was unable to get an invite/ticket (a belated happy birthday)... ...couldn't pass up the signed 2-CD set of JG and the Modern Lives Band from the Fillmore, as that show was a wonderful emotional ride🤩.... ....and can never pass up the show's poster- especially when signed by all the performers.👌💜🙏

Jackie Greene never disappoints. If you have a chance to see one of his shows soon, do so. Jackie is a very talented artist.

Jackie Greene delivered a powerful set that showcased his many instrumental talents. his band was in sync and they played a great mix of tunes. They closed the show with China Cat Sunflower and I know you rider two Grateful Dead Classics.😁

Once again Jackie Greene and the band played great, especially Nathan, I'm sure the rest of the tour will be awesome. Wish I could go along with them on your.

The show started with a solo Alex and kept getting better from there. Those of us lucky enough to be there last night were blessed with an incredible Merle set, fantastic tribute. Jackie blew us away on the piano and the rest of the trio made for a rocking show. A huge thank you to all and KZFR for the show

Amazing! Couldn't have been any better! Nicki Bluhm and Jackie covered Sugaree and it was the best cover of that song to this date! I fall in love every time I see Jackie and now am in love with Nicki as well!
