Natalie’s concert flows so nicely. I was mesmerized by her singing and twirling around the stage. Her band is incredibly talented. She engages with her audience in such a loving and kind way.

The show was incredible, what a band, and what a singer she is. But most of all what a personality. It was all so impressive, her performance, her speeches and of course her songs are touching you deep in the heart. Magic! Tears in my eyes, such a beautiful person.

I was mesmerised by the artist and the band. I have been following Natalie as an artist since my early twenties and watching her live was a dream come true. I came from Greece with my 10 years old daughter just for this show. The theatre was lovely and the sound very good
Thanks for the help and kindness of the personnel through out the whole evening.

Fantastic brilliant night Natalie is a fantastic wee chanter and the band were great. I took my 17 year old daughter as I don't think we will see her in Scotland again. It really was a great night. Additionally Natalie's banter with the crowd was funny and inspiring shes a clever lass.

Just incredible, truly a beautiful woman who sings like an angel, 3 hours no support and an incredible stage whose setting only beaten by the acoustics which merchant used to her fullest potential, could not be happier

Hello -
What a great evening!!!
Superb performance by Natalie supported by a great group of musicians.
From my seat in the stalls the sound quality was excellent and Natalie's voice appeared back to the great old sound belting out some 24 songs . Also glad to see that mobility is not a problem - well done Natalie!!!!!
So glad that despite the inclement weather and travel problems, everyone had made it to create a very intimate evening.
So glad that I was there at the Palladium on Thursday and even the four hour delay going home to the Midlands on Friday did not seem to matter.
Hope we can all attend another concert with Natalie in the near future.
Thanks to all
Kind regards

Brilliant. Have seen Natalie 3 times now over 10 years and her voice is as good as ever As you would expect fantastic backing band. And the string quartet has be dusting down my classical collection! Also shout out to the supporting singer. What a voice. Can say that Natalie is letting up. The whole set was just shy of 2hrs 50 mins.

What a Woman !!
A peerless voice that was note perfect from start to finish, and never better. A set that was joyful and emotional in equal measure. A fabulous band of musicians at the top of their game. All adding up to one of the most enjoyable concerts I have ever attended !! After spinal surgery and difficult rehab it is clear for everybody to see how much fun she and the band are having delivering this performance every evening. Just let me say with no shame whatsoever that you made an old man weep at times with the emotion of these beautiful songs.
I saw her first in 1988 with the maniacs and twice more since then but last night was the best ever. I hope you keep going forever you fierce, compassionate, articulate and beautiful force of nature. THANK YOU SO MUCH

What a treat!!!! WOW! I am completely hooked. My husband and I took our little daughter to see Natalie. What an inspiration. My daughter danced throughout the concert and had a blast. We enjoyed every minute. Great musicians. Great songs. So many emotions.
The problem was, time flew by and we are hungry for more.
What a great experience. We will be back.
Loved it. Loved it. Loved it!!

Natalie is a class act and I love her music. She is a great live performer. She owns the stage.
This concert she had the Chautauqua Symphony Orchestra with her. Oh what an addition! The orchestra was fantastic. They did some different versions of the songs that I love. It was a magical performance.
The institute was crowded and parking and walking was an issue as my partner had recently had surgery. The gate pass system was confusing.
But overall we both enjoyed the concert. It is a memory I will treasure.

Natalie Merchant is flawless. She danced around the stage like the free spirit we all know and love. Her performance was so full of emotion. Natalie was accompanied by the Chautauqua Symphony Orchestra...they were incredible.
This concert venue is unique. If you have the chance, check out a performance at the Chautauqua Institution.

The most magical night of my life. Natalie Merchant is a national treasure. At 60 years old, her voice is stronger and more lovely than ever. She abounded with endless, positive energy and vibes the entire evening. She dug deep into her quite eclectic catalog singing songs that span her almost fourty year career. The highlights are to numerous to mention them all. She performed with the Rhode Island Philharmonic Orchestra who were stellar per usual. As Miss Merchant said, symphony music is not dead in Rhode Island. It is very much alive. She told the audience that she hadn’t experienced such excitement and enthusiasm from an audience in a long time. She also told us that she will remember her night in Providence for a very long time. What an added thrill for all of us.

The Natalie Merchant concert was absolutely fabulous! The setting, the band (mini orchestra) and back up singers were great. But I can't say enough about how wonderful Natalie sounded, how her songs and her being are always so moving! The audience was totally in sync with her performance. What a treat!

Unbelievable. Spellbinding and hypnotic. Haunting yet uplifting. A presence, in voice and stage presence. It was all so right. The level of emotion and energy given by her was unmatched and remained throughout the entirety of the full three hours. If you are a real Natalie Merchant fan, the ticket is worth every penny. During the more emotional songs, she broke down into tears, a sure sign that even after all these decades, she still feels the music, the words behind them, and the power it has. Do not go in thinking this is the Natalie Merchant of 10000 Maniacs because it's not, and that is not who she is anymore. Yes, she still flows and dances with the music, but the music is gentle and, at times, melancholy. On select dates (the one I attended), she is backed by a full symphony and a wonderful backup singer. Abena Koomson-Davis is also touring along with Merchant during the first few months to make limited appearances, and they are everything and leave you wanting more.

Have never been to Alice Tully Hall before. Ushers are needed to help people find their seats Haven’t seen Ms Merchant for years. Sounded great was very comfortable interacting with the audience. Had bought her new cd and liked her new music

Natalie was amazing. It has been almost 20 years since we had seen her and her voice was just as amazing as the energy she brought to the show. Glad she is back and hope to see her again.

Band was in the pocket all show. The new music is like a warm blanket. The old stuff is like seeing a best friend you haven’t seen in years. Natalie… I can’t list enough superlatives to qualify or quantify how good her voice is.

Natalie was friendly and very entertaining, and she and her accompanist Eric performed their acoustic set beautifully for the most part, though she forgot the words to a couple of her songs, several times in one instance, blaming it on being at the midpoint of the tour (and after all, she was picking from songs all across the years and she's got hundreds now, so who can blame her for getting a little mixed up every now and then?). She went to the keyboard to accompany herself on piano for 'Wonder' and a couple of songs after that before resuming with Eric for a long and pleasant encore. Having chatted with several audience members (including me!) over the course of the show, she gave the youngest guest (a ten-year-old) a copy of the box set she's promoting, as the front desk had sold out before the performance started, and handed out gladioli from the vase in my photograph to various people before departing. :)

The only danger with seeing the people you've long respected live is that they can be a bit of a let-down. That's not the case here. Natalie Merchant is still every inch the star who quickly casts her spell. Miss her at your peril.
