Diego Fernández

Diego was born and grew up in Lima, Perú. He started on the music world playing drums at age 13, being part of school punk rock bands, until in 2009 he started in electronic music and researching about it. Thus in 2010 he decided to be a professional DJ and studied at PRO-DJ SCHOOL (one of the best schools for DJs in Lima). From there begins to play in different private parties and local festivals in Lima and other peruvian cities. Diego has played with artists like Marco Bailey (MB Electronics), Shaded (SCI+TEC), Alejandro Vivanco (Cadenza), Ronan Portela (Unlock), Ariel Rodz (Monique), Bastien (Kling Klong), Israel Vich (Get Physical), Markis (USA), Marco Tegui (Get Physical), Kike Mayor (Ole), Danny Em (Audionumb), Mr. Bisi (Disco Royal), Back2Basics (Vintage Music Label), Max Murillo (Shitfuck), Jumi Lee, Oscar Bohorquez, Juan Pablo de la Quintana, Maya Marquez, Enrique del Carpio, among others. As a producer, Diego's career began in the mid-2011. With only a basic knowledge, Diego investigates and learns to use Ableton Live. Thus, in December 2011 signed his first track "Smashing Rockets" released by LOCA MUSIC (Ireland), then came "Stars Journey" signed by ROYAL GROOVE RECORDS (UK). In 2012 his remix for "Jordy Cervera - Las Congas" on RELOAD (Italy) and an entitled EP "COCONUT MONKEY EP" on BASSWALK RECORDS (USA) have support and great feedbacks from artists like Richie Hawtin, Luciano, Paco Osuna, Darkrow, Sasha Carassi, Alessio Collina, Dela, Matthew Lima, and many more. Actually, Diego is teaching on PRO-DJ SCHOOL, and working in the studio for his new albums forthcoming on very good labels.
