Todd La Torre absolutely does the old Queensryche songs justice and they delivered some jems playing London , Neue Regal, Screaming In Digital & Walk In the Shadows from Rage Against the Order! They also plays choice cuts from Operation Mindcrime, Empire, the debut EP, and they also played 3 songs from their more recent releases recorded with Todd on vocals. The band is tight and the sound was mixed impecably! I recommend any classic/progressive metal fan to see them! They are all very nice guys too!

I wish I I saw a lineup that included Geoff and Chris but hey, it is what it is.. The guys sounded great and put on a good show touching the roots of Queensryche with songs like "Warning" and "the Lady Wore Black" culminating with modern gems the band recently released. Sprinkle in some Operation: Mindcrime tracks and of course, some Empire stuff and you get an engaging concert. Todd hits notes that the rest of us mortals can only dream we could accomplish. The Tupelo Music Hall seems like a fitting venue for a no non-nonsense, let's tell a story through music band like Queensryche. Genre shifting bands don't need to sell out stadiums to impact the music world. Go see Queensryche at a smaller venue even if you are not a fan. When you get home you'll add Queensryche to your music playlist...

Queensyche put on an amazing show! Called the "Origins" tour, they played all of the self-titled EP and "Warning" straight through. To say that Todd La Torre was up to the task of singing Geoff Tate's challenging vocals from those albums would be an understatement. He absolutely killed every note! His energy on stage was incredible as he put everything he had into it and his performance was flawless. The band was very tight and the guitar solos were perfect. It was like being transported back to the early 1980's in their heyday! After they played those albums, they did a three-song encore, starting with "Prophecy." Then they did "Screaming in Digital" which is probably my favorite song off of "Rage for Order," and it was fantastic! They closed with "Empire" which was a little disappointing to me, but the crowd really got into it so that was fine. I wish they would've played something off of "Operation: Mindcrime," especially since they had done at least one song off from it at previous shows. I also would have loved to hear some off their latest album, which I think is as good as anything they've ever done, but I understand this tour is about the early days. Now I'm ready to go see them again when they work in the newer stuff! I highly recommend that any true Queensryche fan from the beginning go see this show. I promise you won't be disappointed!

OMG!! I wish there were more stars. I had the best time with my 18 year old daughter. I am 54 years old and the Queensryche EP and The Warning are right in my wheelhouse. She has a wide variety of musical interest and thank God 80's & 90's metal in one of them. Armoured Saint kicked a*s, John's voice sounded better than ever. I think it was a perfect match from a better time in music and life. I honestly can't get over how good Queensryche's sound was. Todd's vocals and Mike's guitar was effortless and pristine. The venue was top notch and the small mainstreet town was a comforting juxtaposition. We drove an hour and 45 minutes from Maryland and would do it again tomorrow for such a perfect show. If both bands read this, I would like to thank them for a time in my life when their music was my savior and again for bringing me back to a youthful energy I sorly missed.🤘

QUEENSRŸCHE was spot on performing their first EP and th Warning album , both in their entirety. The encore included The Prophecy and Screaming in Digital. They were excellent, and despite many key line-up changes, Michael Wilton and Eddie Jackson carry on with Todd La Torre on vocals. Mike Stone rejoins the group on guitar, and Casey Grillo rounds out the lin-up on drums. They are still an amazing band and not a Cover Band as some critics claim. I've seen Geoff Tate with his band, and he still brings it, but a reunion seems unlikely. Honestly, you can't go wrong either way! I'll take my QUEENSRŸCHE any way I can get it. If you like them, go see them any way you can. LONG LIVE QUEENSRŸCHE !

Both bands were fantastic. Armored Saint opened and put on a really great show. This is the second time I've seen them, and both times were incredible. They really put a lot of energy into the show, and they're heavier live. The Queensryche show was like being transported back to 1983. I got to see stuff I've never heard them play live. Even the encore was old school: The Prophecy (from the 1988 reissue of the EP), and Walk in the Shadows from Rage for Order (which was my secret hope for the encore)

Had great seats. Not an extremely large venue but the perfect size for the show. Never cared for bands playing in oversized venues where the sound quality suffers. That was not the case here, great sound even loud, the way I like it. Todd La Torre has the perfect pitch and tone and despite his 50 years young can still hold the ultra high notes. Guitar solos were near perfect (heard only 1 missed chord) but recovered flawlessly. Bass and drums held steady keeping the beat and rhythm regardless of the designed tempo. No gimmicks, just great music from the album The Warning. Wish Armored Saint opened for this show but for some reason they skipped KC. Hadn't seen them since the 80s.

The band was amazing, the crowd was pumped up!!!! The staff was terrific for the most part. I would say that the staff were not pay as much attention to the people that were obviously not sitting in their proper seats and standing in the aisle as they were trying to stop people from taking pictures and videos. I paid for aisle seats to have an unobstructed view of the stage. My girlfriend was kicked by a drunk man bouncing in the aisle. A staff member walked right around him.

Incredible show! The venue ruined the show for me, staff was utterly incompetent for a rock show, but the show itself was amazing. Went with my dad and his high school friend, they havent been to a shown in almost 30 years (since before I was born). It was nice to have a show without all the special effects (though the queensryche special effects from previous shows are incredible!) they both told me "this is how shows were back when we went to shows". It was great to be somebody in their 20s and getting to experience an "old school" rock show. Super cool.

I have been a fan for over 20 years. I was absolutely blown away by the show last night. The band was so tight, and the energy was unreal. I took two friends that have never seen Queensrÿche and they were amazed at the music and the show…. Had to wait a bit after the show because they needed to get shirts as new , loyal fans. What I really appreciate is that they absolutely love, and play for their fans. Lots of great bands out there….. QUEENSRYCHE Is the best!

Amazing performance from beginning to end , band was tight , vocals were tight. Todd Latore proving to be way more than capable of holding the new frontman position & killing it ! They did some old tracks , & they did alot from thier newest album "new digital alliance" , which is actually my new favorite album of thiers. Killer performance thru & thru ... they definitely got the stage rockin & properly warmed it up for the almighty judas priest to perform , which was another flawless truly energized performance... this was the best live show i saw all year of 2022 & i went to 15 shows ! ⚡️🤘

Ryche is my favorite band so any opportunity to see them is one worth. Saw them earlier in the week at Pru with Priest, where they opened. They delivered yet another stellar show, just wished that more of the new songs from the Todd era were better represented. Yes, seeing them play the classics never fails, but I wish that all fans would give the new stuff a listen as they hold their own! Thank you Whip, 1 Take, Todd, Casey, & Stoney for continuing the Ryche!!

Queensryche singer, LA Torre Killed it! Bringing back memories with The Warning and Take Hold of the Flame. My best friend, Leif and I used to crank that album on his stereo in OC 1984. We were 17. Last time I was at the Judas Priest concert was a few years back in Portland with Uriah Heep. Leif battled diabetes for many years...when Heep finished we had to go to medical and then to the hospital. We didn't get to see Priest. This time was bittersweet. My brother, Jimmy, my friend Randy and my bros friend Pete were ready to rock! We dedicated the show to Leif who passed away at 54 due his battle with diabetes. We were best friends 37 years...when Halford came out with his, "Hello you Heavy Metal Fan"and Faulkner and gang shredding it, we knew we were in for a treat. 50 years of Priest led to songs from the new- Lightning Strike and A Touch of Evil, Invader to Turbo Lover and going back with Rock n Rolla and Victim of Changes...Awesome! Desert Plains was one of mine and Leifs favorites...playing the air drums every time. Special place in my heart for that one...Finishing the night with, Livin after Midnight. Great times, great friends and great show....miss you my friend

Queensryche does a great show with a perfect balance of old and new material. I have been to 5 of their shows in the last 3-4 years because I like their new material. Todd LaTorre even says We are still making records and we are selling music so we are going play these new songs we hope you like them. I think this a terrific approach to music as opposed playing the same old greatest hits. Great show please continue to make music!

Another outstanding show from one of the most iconic progressive metal bands ever. Despite a massive rift in the band that fomented the ouster of original vocalist Geoff Tate almost eight years ago, Queensryche have carried on and continued to put out albums with their technically powerful sound and thought provoking lyrics. Vocalist Todd DeLatorrie has firmly established himself as the new frontman as evidenced by his performance onstage and on new album The Verdict. Equally impressive is the fact that he laid down the drum tracks on the new LP in lieu of the indefinite absence of original drummer Scott Rockenfield! By the way, if you haven’t heard The Verdict yet, do yourself a favor and check it out. It is the best album by the band with Todd on vocals and holds up well with many of the QR classics. The new songs translated well live and mixed right into the setlist seamlessly with the legendary songs. The only reason I did not give this performance five stars is the absence of the aforementioned Rockenfield. Don’t get me wrong; Casey Grillo is a more than adequate replacement and a great drummer in his own right. However, as a Queensryche fan since the release of 1983’s self-titled EP and a drummer myself, Scott Rockenfield was a huge influence on me as a young musician and is still one of my favorite drummers. So, I feel a little is lost live without him. But, this in no way diminishes my impassioned support for a band that in so many ways has been the ever used cliche’ ‘soundtrack to my life’. Can’t wait to see them again!

For the size of the hall, it was excellent! Great sound, lights and stage show we’re kick a*s! First time seeing them since Geoff Tate exited.... Todd has surpassed him in vocal quality and stage presence. Casey Grillo excelled on the drum throne and is an asset to the band and their future. Fates Warning opened and was also on point in every respect! Awesome show, great sound and a wide range of both bands musical legacies were represented. Thank you guys for giving us your energy and a moment of your lives!! \\m//

Amazing show! I would like to have seen a lot more Fates Warning and Queensryche as both sets seemed a bit short, but both bands sounded amazing. I have seen Queensryche many times now. I have not seen them with this kind of energy since the Building Empires tour. I appreciate what Geoff Tate contributed to the band, but let’s face it, after Promised Land, most of us were going to the shows to hear, “the old stuff”. Todd has brought a new energy to the band so that, not only does the new stuff sound amazing, but he has even enhanced to old stuff!!! They played the best live version of NM 156 that I have ever heard. I totally left blown away by two of my all time favorite bands. If you are holding out because Geoff is no longer in the band, you are screwing yourself out of some of the most intense, energetic, fans respected and best sounding Queensryche. Don’t do that to yourself!
