Yngwie J. Malmsteen

Yngwie was outstanding!!!! I left the beach driving for two hours to be there. He pay me back!!! We all have some songs that we like most from others but in his case you 've got just to watch this guy play his guitar. So it doesn't matter what the setlist is.

It was insane to see and be up close, so close to the same guy from Leningrad '89, from Alcatrazz '84, from all those pre-'87 shows, the one at G3 in Denver, from the Masterclasses, the one at REH, the same guy; the authentic guitar hero. Five days have passed and I still haven't gotten over how impressive the show was. He deserves more than 5☆; 10☆ is not enough. Yngwie Malmsteen is the experience that many couldn't and never will be able to match; seeing him live is a dream come true.

Truly spectacular! There will never be another yngwie Malmsteen. Seeing him perform for the first time was like seeing Jimi Hendrix. Crazy tricks with his guitar, never missed a note, articulate, and true mastery of his craft. This was an experience that brought me to tears and I will never forget!

Yngwie was awesome he hasn't lost a lick yet. He played for about 2 hrs and we love every minute. He played a new song that blew us away with his rapid fire picking and I thought I died and went to heaven. Pls keep it up Yngwie we would love to see you again. BTW the vibes event center was awesome nice and cool just wish there was somewhere to sit in between act thxs

Yngwie Malmsteen blew the doors off the vibes event center!!! It's been at least 25 years since I last saw him. The man hasn't lost a lick. He played 2hrs and my wife and I loved every minute of it. A true professional that loves his fans. I hope we get to see him again. Thxs Yngwie your the greatest!!!

He was an hour and 15 minutes late starting the show. The ticket said 7 to 10. He came on stage at 8:15 and the concert ended at 9:43! Very frustrating. He played excellent and the music was top notch. But having to wait as the crowd starting getting mad and restless and with no apologies or explanations was maddening! I paid way too much money to be treated as if our time was worthless. And we drove 7 hrs for this concert! If I could get a refund, I would!

Yngwie is a GOD! I felt like I was watching Mozart jamming! We had great seats at the Levoy and the sound was masterful. I would definitely recommend this place to see a concert. Only 2 cons for the night ... 1. there were no security / ushers near the stage at all, so a drunk idiot was moving around and should have been kicked out/ 2. The line for merch was slow and inefficient.

The show was killer. I don't know what this Deep Purple Burn album was about. He did play a Deep Purple song (Smoke on the Water.) But honestly, thats not what I was there for. Yngvie leaves it all out there. Great show. Never miss him when he comes. No one can play the way he does. The warm up act was Glenn Hughes. I had not expectations and he came out and put on a good show. He really got the crowd going. The Oriental is a fine venue. Just a good time!!!

Entertaining, but honestly all the songs sound the same. Second time I’ve seen him live, and I left before he finished. Worth seeing once if you can get a good deal. He’s a great at his once niche skill and stage tricks, but that’s all he does the whole time.

Glenn Hughs opened and he put on a Fantastic show, he played old Deep Purple songs and some of his own music. But Yngwie was the Ultimate show stopper. He was extremely at his best. His playing was as usual his Best Performance. Great show, had a great time and the drinks were Killer, too.

Im listing to Mr.Malmsteen music since his 1st album i got in Moscow, Russia during a work trip in 1986. They way he walk past me twice, before and after the show left me with very bad taste in my mouth. Had 3 original vinyls from mid 1980s and he did not care!!!! Will never again will go to see him!!!!! Yours truly. JR

La performance de l’artiste 4/5 car un peu trop court 20:20 a 21:26. La salle 1/5 : la visibilité était nulle à moins d’être collé sur le stage. Il y avait des écrans qui auraient pu être utilisés pour diffuser l’image de Malmsteen en direct pour qu’on voit ses prouesses de virtuose.

The best damn show I have ever seen. Ten feet away from some of the best guitar playing I have ever seen in a 200-seat club. Over-rated? No way. I couldn't believe what I saw. In fact, the whole spectacle stayed with me for days. I have been looking to see him again. Yngwie had three mediocre opening bands-I felt tortured. Yngwie needs to dump all opening acts...just come out and destroy for an hour. I would pay $100 for that-all day.

I have been living in pittsburgh for 15 yrs via long island new york. Now playing guitar for over 50 yrs now i was exposed to music at a very early age. So born in 64 i sponged out on everybody that i was exposed to. Fast foward to the shred era. I graduated in 83. 16 zappa concerts at the palladium. Def leppards first show in nyc. The police at my fathers place. Aerosmith @ msg in 77. 3rd row in front of randy rhodes with ozzy. Van halen at same venue. Dlr danced his way down the catwalk in chaps right in front of me and 3 friends. We were the lucky or not 4 guitar obsessed fiends wanting to see eddie do his shit. Dlr is shaking his ass 6 feet in front of our faces and when he turned around we had 8 middle fingers in his face. He did a roundhouse kick to take our heads off. We all ducked and eddie saw all of this. He ran full blast at us down the catwalk slid on his knees fingering 1 handed and with the most joyous smile on his face high fived us as i yanked his floyd wammy bar. You cant make this shit up. Also saw yjm, the son of richie blackmore back in the day. Brillant at the time. For the life of me i cant believe that after all these yrs this guy cant stand in front of that wall of marshalls and make statement. I am actually a nice guy but he must jerk off as fast as he plays. If JEFF BECK walked out on yjms stage all by himself. He would stand in front of that wall and within his own quiet way or not of having his way with a strat would reduce EVERYONE in the audience to a puddle of tears. I have experienced that man first-hand. Anyone who reads this. Jeff beck @ ronnie scotts. Enough said. I went to a job interview. There is this converted church by the islip long island airport on vets highway 454. I went for a job interview there for a chef job. Walk in, the place as you walk in, all ava maria. Soaring ceiling,stained glass, dark wood and everything ritchie. I look over and he is sitting in a booth with candice. He sees me looking at them. 1 word jerk.

It was a very good performance although Yngwie started later than I thought and John 5 dropped out of the tour. There were a few tech issues with the sound but I didn’t care as a big fan of Yngwie Malmsteen’s guitar playing. He’s one of the best guitarists in the world professionally. Anyway his set list was very good. He played his great classic tunes like Evil Eye and Far Beyond the Sun . He played Soldier from World Is On Fire and You Don’t Remember I’ll Never Forget. So It was certainly enjoyable overall.

Considering it’s mainly Yngwie Malmsteen at the center of the stage and his band to the left. It was better than I thought it would be. I throughly enjoyed the concert and it was filled to the brim with fans new and old. I claim the elder factor since I have been a big fan of Malmsteen’s Rising Force since 1984. I took pictures but don’t have them available on this iPhone I have.

It was awesome!! The empress was a fun and great place to see a show, the sound was AMAZING, and the staff were kind, friendly and helpful.. Yngwie and paralandra stuck out in performances..well worth the economical prices they sold the tickets for..I highly recommended going..the only downside, was the seats were way to small for my large frame...

Yingwie brings it. No question .... The sound guy blew it. The keyboards, bass and vocals were burried in the mix. The sound guy had his fingers in his ears at times. Seems like he should have tried to miv it. Any way Mr Malmsiten was amazing. I would see this show again any time.

Malmsteen was amazing as always but the bands before him really sucked beside the first band that played! The rubicon band sucked, the sax didn’t go with that type of music! I Die Trying should have never been on that stage he needs to stop trying !!!i can’t believe malmsteen didn’t kick him off stage he was fucking horrible !

Amazing as usual but ZERO Yngwie tshirts at the souvenir booth??? WTF - See that Tosin amd Nuno had their shirts for sale yet Yngwie has nothing???Also, Yngwie ALWAYS introduces his Marshalls at every concert.... For some reason, he did. Ot at the Fox in Oakland. Always good but not as amazing as I have come to expect from him. Hopefully, just a bad day for him and the tees sold out or did not arrive???Still love and support the maestro!!!
