Being back among midwesterners was a balm for my soul! I forget how nice they are when I've been away for awhile. The venue is amazing- starting the day with Mass was wonderful. It's always a bit of a challenge trying to find a welcoming parish when you're traveling. Having the venue host Mass made me feel at home from the very start. As for JigJam, well, you can't go wrong if you choose to attend one of their shows...or, two, as the case-may-be. You won't find a nicer group of guys. And, they are gifted musicians to-a-man! One unique element to their act is that you're never going to see the same set twice. One time you get an a cappella rendering of a traditional piece...the next you get a duet of a pop song you've never heard them sing before. Don't pass up the chance to see these gents should they come your way!

It was an amazing show! I love everytime I get to see these guys! They are so nice and the talent each of them has is unbelievable!

The show at Thursday's Downtown at Peace Plaza was wonderful start to finish! The guys were playing without their fiddle player but that didn't slow them down one bit! The banter in between tunes, the mix of bluegrass and new takes on familiar tunes all met with a rousing standing ovation at the end of the set. Fun was had by all!

It was so fun. I had a smile on my face the whole time! Great concert from a great band!
