It was awesome, such a good vibe and tunes , the music was just perfect and the crowd also . The place was just perfect for that everything was well organized and just went really well. The food and the drinks were well placed and went smooth. It was flawless….

Opened with one of my most beloved songs. Thickly emotional show! Just a stellar performance. Truly magical. Beautiful venue. Cute little take-home sippy cups from the wine and beer. Friendly staff. But why does everything is great barrington close at 9 on a Friday night?! Going to a show here? Eat before!

The Paramount Theater is our favorite venue to see shows. Jose Gonzalez was absolutely fantastic! He played for almost an hour and a half and we were all wanting more. Great performer and guitarist. We will definitely be going back soon, as the Paramount always books great artists.

This intimate acoustic show was rich and transcendent! Truly an inspiration in talent and lyric. I only wish it was longer! Fan since Junip days❤️❤️

Didn’t realize there wouldn’t be an opener and so ended up missing a good chunk of the concert. What i did hear was excellent!

José González was even better than I expected. When we arrived and there was a chair on stage with a few mics I wondered if I could listen to a single guy and his guitar all night. I was sad when it was over because he was so amazing. I was with a group and everyone had a great time.

The opening act was beyond awful. That’s coffee shop fodder. Jose came out and did what he always does best. Sing beautifully and play beautifully. He is sublime, his music is sublime. But we all could’ve done without the opening act. Two chord-change songs with cliche’ lyrics. Jose Gonzalez can hold it down alone.

Fantastic - charming, haunting, and virtuosic. I don't know how he gets that much sound out of his guitar - it's frigging magic.

Even though I paid $48 for a GA ticket, I couldn’t sit anywhere in the middle of the room (only allowed in far outside sections), and there was this whirring sound the whole time (either from a cricket or creaky machinery). José did a great job, playing for about an hour and 15 minutes, but I didn’t care for the venue.

Phenomenal. The revamping of classic Jose songs was inspiration and moving. Impossible to sit still to. A buffet of sounds and creates magnificent landscapes, then builds into booming crescendos. Perfect.

Brilliant show. José and The String Theory were excellent and together they produced a great vibe throughout the show. Also recommend the warm up act Jesca Hoop, fab voice and great performance in her own right. Overall, brilliant show

Great gig, fantastic musical arrangement. Shame about the venue...should have been at the Colston Hall...the O2 Academy was not the right venue for this gig...noisy bar during quiet parts of the music.

Wonderful. Wonderful how humans can create such sounds and make an ambience that connects people in a room for a brief moment in time. Think a lower echo and reverb on Mr Gonzales mic could’ve further levitated the experience; had his vocals gone through crisp and clear IN the orchestra sound wall... his feelings had transcended even clearer. Loved it.

Pure musical zen. Mesmerizing, magical and perfect for the quaint, acoustically beautiful, Portsmouth Music Hall. José was on his game. His unique sound shone through even more than on his records. I’m in awe of his ability to sing and play contrapuntal rhythms so effortlessly.

he played a very special song Blackbird by Paul McCartney. this song is very important to me. thank you so much I have to say this was the best summer.

One of the best live performances I've ever been to. José sounded so amazing live. If you're a fan then I recommend you see him live. Wonderful show.
