Mötley Crüe

Motley Crue performed great last night. I know a few years ago things were uncertain but with John 5 in the mix (miss you Mick) they seem revitalized and they played all the hits. Vince sang very well Tommy and Nikki looked and sound really good. John5 is a force to be reckoned with with without a doubt. Tesla was really good as well and sound pretty tight. Unfortunately I missed Extreme but living in New England there were a lot loyal hometown fans who showed up to support them and they said they were awesome. The only downside were the middle aged white dudes that peaked in high school getting drunk and re living their glory years harassing the venue workers and true metal fans (who were loads of fun). They don’t come to the concerts to have fun, they go to get loaded and rage out which is wild. Maybe the last minute ticket slashes attracted them. I guess they didn’t get the memo even Motley Crue has grown up .

Wow what a nice looking crowd full of black leather and lace spandex and hot chicks at this concert other than that I have to complain about the amount of smoke screen on the stage almost every song you couldn't even get a good photo from a distance cuz the whole stage was white smoke masking your view.also the vocals muddled can barely understand anything that was being sung clearly vocal sound level and quality was not a priority in this bands sound mix. other than that every song was great except John 5 played guitar solos that didn't sound anything like they did on the record his spin on solos was clearly not Motley Crue

1st time seeing Motley with John 5 playing guitar 🎸. I have seen Motley Crue 6 or 7 times prior. How they broke things off with Mick Mars was super Douche. This almost made me not go. However they put on a very entertaining show. It was like old times seeing them play again. John 5 played all his parts well. They all looked like they were having fun. You know what? It was fun! The video back drop was very busy and colorful. It wasn't a Rollercoaster or Ferris wheel drum extravaganza. But it was really cool 😎 I would go again if they keep paying shows. Also important note... Normal ticket prices. We paid $40.00 U. S. to sit in the section behind the sound booth. Great job Motley 🤘❤️🇨🇦

These guys never fail to deliver and this show proves that they still have the talent, the showmanship and endurance to keep rockin hit after hit. Vince killed it, (you haters s**k it) as good as any 63 year old Crüe singer could do. Nikki, goes without saying, he kept the solid bass line and worked the crowd same as he did in Dallas, Reunion Arena, Theater tour circa 1986. John 5 is no Mick M., but he’s a damn good fill in that shredded all night. Tommy, well Tommy did what he does best…he brought the energy and the solid drumming. He played with as much ferocity as he has always shown. All in all, that kicked a*s!!!! If anything, the crowd was not what it used to be….young, attractive and ready to flash their assets. Maybe they’ll return to Dallas for a more compliant and cooperative crowd. Crue forever!!!!!!

They follow the same kind of show as many years ago but i like it and it is was it is expected, same as you can expect in others. Neil´s voice not so good but they have big hits that does not need more than a poor voice to make them greater. My opinion is that i would go again if they come back next year :). The place (Miguel Rios) is a good place for listening but sadly the installations are not for those kind of concerts: no shadow and not enought places to get some drink. Def Leppard: you can listen a CD or go to the concert, no changes. Could be good or not but i like live musin not a copy and paste

Organisation vor Ort war sehr gut. Die Essen und Getränkepreise waren selbst für Konzerte viel zu hoch. Genug Merch-, Getränke-, & Essensstände. Musste fast nie lange anstehen. Kamen 10 Minuten vorm Einlass und standen dann ganz vorn 3. Reihe. Der Sound war ok. Eclipse haben gut abgeliefert, Kabat fand ich komisch und konnte wirklich nichts mit anfangen (liegt vllt auch daran, dass sie in landenssprache singen und ich es nicht verstehe. Aber auch vom Stil her klang es einfach wie die tschechischen Onkelz. Def Leppard haben abgeliefert ohne Ende. Joe hat die Töne getroffen, haben Stimmung gemacht und die Setlist war gut gemischt. Mötley Crüe waren auch gut. Meine Euphorie hat Vince‘ Gesang weggespült und es war vorn so laut, dass man nicht gehört hat, dass er trotz Teleprompter teilweise die Texte nicht konnte. Oder sein Dialekt ist so krass, dass die Wörter wohl anders klingen . Naja aber so war’s geil!

Very good, as always, an incredible set list, the impressive stage, the sound 7, 8 points, I don't know if because it was quite ahead it didn't sound so clear, I take my hat off to John 5, very good Lee and Sixx, Vince Neil is already complicated to sing.... In short, many people who accompanied the band felt the desire of the musicians to play in Argentina, come back soon, please! The sound of Def Leppard a paragraph apart, 10 points, strong and clear, perhaps a little quieter, but the musicians very professionals, great set list, but could it be better, for me. and worst of all the night Rata Blanca, unpresentable, it sounded like s**t, a horrible set list, they could have put on a more national band of the stick....

The concert was excellent, the staging, the quality of the musicians, the vocal quality, the show, everything incredible, I'm still very excited, I can't believe I had such a great experience with this concert. The only thing I could add as a point of improvement is to equalize the sound well for the spectator who is very close to the stage, on this occasion the bass tones prevailed more than the midrange and treble, during Mötley Crue and half of Def Leppard it was like this , then it looks like they fixed it for the second half of Def Leppard and it sounded a lot better. That is the only point that I would observe, then everything was magnificent. Thank you very much 🤩

The show was great, Motley Crue was good, but Def Leppard and Poison were both Better. Joan Jett rocked it but logistical issues kind of let her down (not her fault) and the audience wasn't really in place yet. As for the rest. Logistics were frankly horrible: Not sure if that's the producer's fault or the Stadium 's. There were thousands of people waiting outside for door opening at 330 and by 430 many still hadn't gotten through the gates. Far too slow and caused people that wanted to catch the whole show to miss both the opener and part of Joan Jett's set. Two merch tents for ~35,000 people. This is Edmonton where we spend an order of magnitude more on events than a lot of other cities. The lineup to get merch was 2 hours (and 1000 people ) long and most of the good stuff was gone. If you wanted anything you had to choose to stand in line for an entire set or more and miss it. Buying beer was a half hour wait, and without fail by the time you got to the front of the line what you wanted was gone and best case you had to pick something else, worst vase they had no drinks left. Buying just food was fine, although they were running out of that too.

This was the first time for me to see Motley Crue in a big venue. I have had my tickets for the past 2 1/2 years and held on tight hoping the concert would eventually take place. I saw them at SoFi Saturday night. I love Motley Crue and I go way back to the early 80's in Hollywood. The sound guy who was in charge of the Foot bass drum for Tommy was not paying attention. I was in the 9th row and my heart and ears literally hurt every time he hit that drum. Could barely make out the song they were singing and I just saw Vince at the Long Beach grand prix not too long ago and he looked and sounded good. Not Saturday night. Main complaint was the sound, it was really horrible. I hope they come back for another tour one day in a smaller venue so I can see them one more time. Overall the Stadium Tour Rocked!

Well I just like to say that I'm a huge fan of all the bands that played at the stadium tour here in Southern California in Los Angeles on August 27th 2022. The stadium is a great place and the best of all the video production for all the bands was great! That's the best video production that I have ever seen in a stadium concert loved it! When Def Leppard was playing the song photograph they did a video collage of all Def leppard's photos from out the years and brought a tear to my eye. I so love these bands and they're so iconic and I'm so happy that they were all successful over the years. Just watching that picture collage of Def Leppard and Motley Crue just shook me up. I grew up with these bands and they're just a huge part of my life and I'm glad they're successful today happy for them like if it was for myself. Had a great show and a great night. Okay now on to the negative. The only thing I don't like about sofi stadium is it is a big stadium it is nice and I had an idea where I parked but when they let you out at the end of the night and you're at the other end of the stadium you get turned around and you don't know where you're at. There's so many cars there and it's so hard to find your car and you really have to remember which parking lot and the letter of the section that you're in. Because if you don't you're going to get screwed and you're going to take you a long time to walk around trying to find your car. They should have had trams to take people into the sections that they were parked. The only killer about this stadium too is they do not take cash there you have to either use debit card or credit card. Don't understand that. Is it really that much of a pain in the a*s! To do accounting for cash?. As long as cash is still legal in the United States of America I shouldn't have to charge or use debit cards for purchases. And why in the hell! Would a stadium want to spend millions and millions of dollars in credit card fees is beyond me. Also shirts were $50 plus completely ridiculous! There were guys selling shirts outside of the stadium for $25 and the shirt quality was way better than the shirt quality that they were selling in the stadium. You could get a lot thicker quality cotton t-shirt from the ones that they were selling in there. I suggest anybody going to a concert in the future if you see those guys selling shirts outside the stadium by them there because they're going to be way too expensive in there and the quality is good. And as far as the stadium goes the sound quality was horrible! If you go on Google reviews and look at recent comments about people that went to that stadium tour they all agree that the sound sucked! You would think that they spend millions and millions of dollars of building a stadium and you can't get a something as simple as good sound coming out of there unbelievable. You think they would do sound checks or have people or sound engineers at different part of the stadium so when the music plays they can tell if the vocals are drowned out or if something is just not right, unbelievable. Either their sound engineers s**k! Or their whole audio system is just garbage! Why in the hell! Would you cheap out on putting a good sound system in there is beyond me. I suggest wherever those sound engineers there either fire them get better ones if that's the issue or get a better sound system. So I suggest to anybody who's reading this review if you go see a concert there take it with a grain of salt the sound may be good may not be good take your chances. And as far as Google reviews a lot of people agreed with me and said the same similar thing about the sound issue there. But as far as the bands are concerned it's not their fault if the sound s***s there but they all put on a great performance I have no gripe with that best stadium production ever but the sound for sofi stadium sucked!

Would have been a perfect 5 star review, but there was a few things that I disliked. first was the level of sound as a sound engineer myself it really bothered me at how poorly the sound mixing was done. I feel the vocalist didn't have enough level as I could just barely make what they where saying out over the instrumental parts. Had they taken the time to walk around the stadium while doing sound checks they would have noticed this right away. Second the AC in the facility was not pushing enough air around to keep the upper levels cool as by the time the second act took stage I was sweating very heavily and that made for a very uncomfortable night. Lastly DEF Leppard Promoted the IPA for sale at the Venue and while walking every concourse level I was unable to find it for sale anywhere. Do not advertise something for sale if you do not have it at the venue!!!

Poison and Def Leppard won the night with their shows. Motley Crue was good, but their videos used during the show, wasn't appealing to me. MC song selection was pretty good. Vince and the band are older. His voice isn't like it was. I still think they were worth the price of admission. Def Leppard was Excellent!!! Good mix of song selections . Joe Elliott takes care of his voice and sounded better. Same with Poison. Bret Michaels got the crowd pumped up for DL and MC. His hometown concert brought something extra. He is from Butler,Pa...Must have been a dream to play in the area on all their past tours. Joan Jett and the Blackhearts may have been good, but to me the sound coming from the speakers was less than ideal. Made her sound muffled and distorted some songs. I was looking forward to her set leading up to the concert. Two years plus waiting for this tour. Overall, didnt disappoint the nearly 40,000 showed up and got their money's worth. 🤟👍❤

From Joan Jett belting out the old favorites such as "Do You Wanna Touch Me" and "Bad Reputation" to Motley Crue's rendition of "Smokin' in the Boy's Room", this concert was definitely one for the ages. Joan Jett and the Blackhearts were up first and proved that they were there to rock your socks off. The energy their performance brought had many fans leaving booze lines to sing along with Joan. Ending their set with "I Hate Myself for Loving You", the crowd went wild and "One more, one more" could be heard shouted from several fans. Next up, Poison took the stage and freakin' rocked Denver's Coor's Field with "Your Mamma Don't Dance" and "Talk Dirty To Me" along with a handful of others. Bret and the boys once again proved that not only can they rock but they can roll. The energy that Bret brings to the stage is contagious and he had the floor audience jumping to the beat. For the third act, Def Leppard took to the stage and made the floor shake with each and every song they performed. Such favorites as "Photograph" and "Rock of Ages" showed the nearly sold out stadium fans of all ages that Leppard is not fading away any time soon. As the sunset in Denver, Elliot, Collin, Allen, Campbell and Savage proved that they are truly Armageddon it! With the setting sun came Motley Crue's "Wild Side". The crowd went wild and the whole stadium was shaking with the beat of Tommy's drum. Neil asked if we wanted to hear songs from the first album and of course, we collectively screamed "YES!" With that, Mars' crisp rockin guitar started "Live Wire" and we were all a little bit better than we used to be. "Looks That Kill" started and as usual, this song did not disappoint. The Crue's backup singers/dancers were in barely there leather costumes reminiscent of the 1984 video along with Neil's voice, we all knew that indeed looks can kill. Vince, Mars, Sixx and Lee showed young and old that they still have what it takes to rock out. A concert I wouldn't miss for the world!!

The show was great, if you have the Meet and Greet Motley Crue package be prepared to be disappointed. it was about 8 seconds long, just enough time for the crew running it to have you stand on an X and snap a picture and push you out the door. I completely understand the covid test and precautions set up but for the $$$ very sad. It went from bring a couple things to sign to them having pre signed stuff they give you, no big deal. Unfortunately it was a pair of drumsticks auto penned with Tommy Lee sig on it and a tiny pin saying VIP on it. I understand it's a different time form when the concert was scheduled but if you take 3/4 the experience away, don't charge full price. Love Motley Crue but the M&G was completely pointless.

Amazing! Joan Jett , Poison were both awesome. Def Leppard still sounds amazing. But at 852PM , they had to cut their set short and we were told to evacuate the field. I love all the bands but was there for the Crue! After waiting over 2 years for it, my heart sank. They paused the show 90 minutes . It did not look good and some people left thinking it would not happen. At 1038PM , Nikki Sixx texted that the show was a GO! The rain almost ruined it but in the end made it better. The crowd was so fired up by the time they came on. It was worth the wait to see them!! Tommy , making light of the situation with his broken ribs, tossed out actual ribs and beer to the crowd. Yes, it was a party and a celebration . The pandemic just made us all appreciate the concert experience even more. Long live the Crue!

“With a break from the heat but not from the music (a pleasant 80° post 17 days of 90+ heat), the Stadium Tour finally rolled into Charlotte for a Tuesday show. Finally sums it up well as tickets for the 36 city tour originally went on sale in December of 2019! It was my first time seeing Def Leppard (despite many opportunities) and also Crue so I was super-excited. I had seen Jett in Spring of ’89 and Poison in 2017 when I showed up for Cheap Trick (the first half of a double-bill), and left a believer in Poison! The order of the 7 hour day was Joan Jett then Poison who were billed as ‘special guests’, next were Motley Crue and Def Leppard on the alternation swapping their order out every other show as ‘co-headliners’. Of note there was also an opening band ‘Classless Act’ coming in with perfect timing for their debut album just days earlier. An estimate of the age of the majority of attendees was 50 plus, the atmosphere at our seats pungent and earthy. Joan age 63 came on promptly and without a lot of fan fair. She immediately got the crowd off their feet, ‘Are you ready for a day of rock and roll?’ Dressed all in black, black Gibson in hand with a pink heart on it ‘Girl Is Not A Four Letter Word’, we could all agree on one thing, that ‘ROCK’ is! The drum kit in like fashion was all in black monogramed on the bass drum, ‘JOAN JETT AND THE BLACKHEARTS’. The fact that Joan had been touring right up to the stadium dates was evident in the fact that she did not miss a single beat throughout the 45 minute set. She sounded identical to me as she had some 33 years earlier. Poison coming off a 4 year hiatus was simply amazing! The energy alone from Bret Michaels working the crowd (dressed in a black Poison shirt with trademark bandanna) was contagious. ‘I don’t care if it snowed, we were coming here to throw a party!’, at 59 he looks great! CC at 60 with long hair, aviator glasses, his red vested top hat and GMP flying V was strong as ever playing a 4 minute solo (far too short to spotlight his talent) that included an excerpt from ‘Eruption’. Rikki Rockett had a super cool green kit with the Poison skull and bones on the bass drum, the bones were images of sticks creatively spelling out his name. A row of light boxes kept everything captivating and bright during the hour long daylight set. Crue was the most visual. Being their first major tour in 7 years the anticipation was mounting as even their stage set was reported being shut up a warehouse for over two years. A sound from the video screens came on like a breaking news report, ‘For the next 2 hours music will be the only form of communication!’ What seemed to be a stage length partition designed to conceal the stage crew during the turn time doubled as a video screen with the words ‘THE FUTURE IS OURS’, rising up and revealing the set. There were four large radio towers or ‘lighting trees’ with spiked tips extending up. There was what looked to be erector set staging all over the stage with which dancing girls could use to climb. Yes there were dancing girls ‘The Nasty Habits’, who also sang and I’m pretty sure they weren’t background tracked. Two huge inflatable futuristic looking mannequins filled up the already crowded stage for ‘Girls Girls Girls’. Neil addressed the crowd, ‘We’re back, we’re back, you thought we were gone and now were f*****g back… let’s go! The focus would not be on Vince Neil’s voice but his frontman-ship. I had heard that he has never really had a strong stage voice so I wasn’t there to hear studio albums reproduced. However had stated that he was going to get himself in shape for the tour (and after recently seeing Bon Jovi), he did a great job! Tommy Lee who had suffered 4 broken ribs a couple weeks prior to opening night played his first entire set! He was also featured on a piano that rose up from beneath the catwalk for ‘Home Sweet Home’. One couldn’t tell that Mick Mars 71 was the oldest performer of the evening, he carried himself with the best of them. There were to be no pyrotechnics on this tour however at the end of Crue’s set, a huge smoke screen from the back of the floor section rose toward the sky like giant pink cotton candy, awful smelling and view obstructing. The band played an hour and a half. Honestly, that stage was a lot to switch out for Def Leppard and it took about 35 minutes, the crew did great. A video screen countdown commenced, 10-9-8… and Leppard followed with a flawless 18 song set. Joe Elliott 62 in the front clearly has stayed in vocal-shape, ‘It’s been a hell of a wait, we want to thank you for waiting for us!’ The bands recent gig at the ‘Whisky A Go Go’ was all it took to get them in top form for this tour which included four tracks from the new album. The set list was heavy on the Hysteria album being its 35th anniversary, a whopping seven songs made the cut. The custom drum kit had the ‘Diamond Star Halos’ eye with the DL pyramid on it operating under clear command and control of Rick Allen sporting his Union Jack headphones. A second drum set rose up out of the catwalk for ‘This Guitar’ the first song in an acoustic set which for me was a highlight of the evening musically. The set lasted about 1 1/2 hours, it may not have had the glam of Crue but musically (in my opinion) it was the best performance of the evening and the order of bands worked well. There was nothing notably missing from either bands set lists (save ‘Too Late For Love’) which made for a great night. Also there was a 25% chance of thunderstorms to which we all stayed ‘High ’N’ Dry’ minus a light shower during ‘Pour Some Sugar’. All I could think of was my old man saying, ‘What, are you made of sugar?’ BOA Stadium staff were great, they moved everyone quickly in and through security with zero nitpicking, kudos. The sound was very good for a stadium show, not too loud not too soft. In summary, this was more than just hair bands or glam bands reliving their glory days, this was the 80’s in Rock N Roll still alive and well in 2022!” by DAve (Concerts #670-673)

I'll give it 4-stars. I saw Crue many times "back in the day" and while we all age...and back then I was in the "heat of the action", if you will. I did not get the same energy from my seats - Speaking of seats - it would have been nice if they lowered the "fowl ball" screen..shame on Citifield. My seats were lower level, 2nd row. Tommy Lee being out - the drummer did a GREAT job, but I'm not even sure who he is. Tommy Lee slithered off the drum kit and they never said anything - he just left. He did come back out spoke and did the piano bit for Home Sweet Home...which was cool. MICK MARS is a GOD and he, at least at this show should have been featured on camera much more than he was - it was like the Nikki Sixx show...Vince did a great job - I was very happy to see/hear that he was souding good. Rock on Crue - but Def Leppard was on POINT.

Def Leppard was nothing but stellar....all the hits you want to hear plus some of the newer material....they never lost an edge. My 3rd fav band ever. (Ratt and STP respectively) Well it was good to see the Crue boys back...however it was not their best performance...Vince mumbled through most of the songs and forgot some lyrics here and there...and Tommy played a bit but was replaced by another drummer because he broke 4 ribs...I can't fault him for that though. Overall it was great to hear the classics...I'm assuming they will get better as the tour progresses...it was their first show in about 7 years so overall I gave them 4 stars.....Rock On!! I'm not a big Poison fan but they rocked the house, I have to admit. Joan Jett rocked too...she is incredible...been a huge fan since my first 45 record back in 1981 was "I Love Rock n Roll"

Luckily I was able to see Poison and Motley Crue. I missed Joan Jett d/t parking issues and getting to the arena with my walker down 2 large hills, and then had to leave after Motley Crue d/t mom falling and getting injured while I was at the concert. She told me to finish the concert, but a huge thunderstorm with lightning hit right after Motley Crue, so I really don't know if Def Leppard got to play. I was happy to be here though, because I was also at the farewell concert in Greenwood. The bands were great as usual. I still listen to the music in the car. Great memories from high school and when I first saw them at Monsters of Rock in Germany when Faster Pussycats opened for them.

Mötley Crüe waren auch gut. Meine Euphorie hat Vince‘ Gesang weggespült und es war vorn so laut, dass man nicht gehört hat, dass er trotz Teleprompter teilweise die Texte nicht konnte. Oder sein Dialekt ist so krass, dass die Wörter wohl anders klingen . Naja aber so war’s geil!

Very good, as always, an incredible set list, the impressive stage, the sound 7, 8 points, I don't know if because it was quite ahead it didn't sound so clear, I take my hat off to John 5, very good Lee and Sixx, Vince Neil is already complicated to sing.... In short, many people who accompanied the band felt the desire of the musicians to play in Argentina, come back soon, please! The sound of Def Leppard a paragraph apart, 10 points, strong and clear, perhaps a little quieter, but the musicians very professionals, great set list, but could it be better, for me. and worst of all the night Rata Blanca, unpresentable, it sounded like s**t, a horrible set list, they could have put on a more national band of the stick....

The concert was excellent, the staging, the quality of the musicians, the vocal quality, the show, everything incredible, I'm still very excited, I can't believe I had such a great experience with this concert. The only thing I could add as a point of improvement is to equalize the sound well for the spectator who is very close to the stage, on this occasion the bass tones prevailed more than the midrange and treble, during Mötley Crue and half of Def Leppard it was like this , then it looks like they fixed it for the second half of Def Leppard and it sounded a lot better. That is the only point that I would observe, then everything was magnificent. Thank you very much 🤩

The show was great, Motley Crue was good, but Def Leppard and Poison were both Better. Joan Jett rocked it but logistical issues kind of let her down (not her fault) and the audience wasn't really in place yet. As for the rest. Logistics were frankly horrible: Not sure if that's the producer's fault or the Stadium 's. There were thousands of people waiting outside for door opening at 330 and by 430 many still hadn't gotten through the gates. Far too slow and caused people that wanted to catch the whole show to miss both the opener and part of Joan Jett's set. Two merch tents for ~35,000 people. This is Edmonton where we spend an order of magnitude more on events than a lot of other cities. The lineup to get merch was 2 hours (and 1000 people ) long and most of the good stuff was gone. If you wanted anything you had to choose to stand in line for an entire set or more and miss it. Buying beer was a half hour wait, and without fail by the time you got to the front of the line what you wanted was gone and best case you had to pick something else, worst vase they had no drinks left. Buying just food was fine, although they were running out of that too.

This was the first time for me to see Motley Crue in a big venue. I have had my tickets for the past 2 1/2 years and held on tight hoping the concert would eventually take place. I saw them at SoFi Saturday night. I love Motley Crue and I go way back to the early 80's in Hollywood. The sound guy who was in charge of the Foot bass drum for Tommy was not paying attention. I was in the 9th row and my heart and ears literally hurt every time he hit that drum. Could barely make out the song they were singing and I just saw Vince at the Long Beach grand prix not too long ago and he looked and sounded good. Not Saturday night. Main complaint was the sound, it was really horrible. I hope they come back for another tour one day in a smaller venue so I can see them one more time. Overall the Stadium Tour Rocked!

Well I just like to say that I'm a huge fan of all the bands that played at the stadium tour here in Southern California in Los Angeles on August 27th 2022. The stadium is a great place and the best of all the video production for all the bands was great! That's the best video production that I have ever seen in a stadium concert loved it! When Def Leppard was playing the song photograph they did a video collage of all Def leppard's photos from out the years and brought a tear to my eye. I so love these bands and they're so iconic and I'm so happy that they were all successful over the years. Just watching that picture collage of Def Leppard and Motley Crue just shook me up. I grew up with these bands and they're just a huge part of my life and I'm glad they're successful today happy for them like if it was for myself. Had a great show and a great night. Okay now on to the negative. The only thing I don't like about sofi stadium is it is a big stadium it is nice and I had an idea where I parked but when they let you out at the end of the night and you're at the other end of the stadium you get turned around and you don't know where you're at. There's so many cars there and it's so hard to find your car and you really have to remember which parking lot and the letter of the section that you're in. Because if you don't you're going to get screwed and you're going to take you a long time to walk around trying to find your car. They should have had trams to take people into the sections that they were parked. The only killer about this stadium too is they do not take cash there you have to either use debit card or credit card. Don't understand that. Is it really that much of a pain in the a*s! To do accounting for cash?. As long as cash is still legal in the United States of America I shouldn't have to charge or use debit cards for purchases. And why in the hell! Would a stadium want to spend millions and millions of dollars in credit card fees is beyond me. Also shirts were $50 plus completely ridiculous! There were guys selling shirts outside of the stadium for $25 and the shirt quality was way better than the shirt quality that they were selling in the stadium. You could get a lot thicker quality cotton t-shirt from the ones that they were selling in there. I suggest anybody going to a concert in the future if you see those guys selling shirts outside the stadium by them there because they're going to be way too expensive in there and the quality is good. And as far as the stadium goes the sound quality was horrible! If you go on Google reviews and look at recent comments about people that went to that stadium tour they all agree that the sound sucked! You would think that they spend millions and millions of dollars of building a stadium and you can't get a something as simple as good sound coming out of there unbelievable. You think they would do sound checks or have people or sound engineers at different part of the stadium so when the music plays they can tell if the vocals are drowned out or if something is just not right, unbelievable. Either their sound engineers s**k! Or their whole audio system is just garbage! Why in the hell! Would you cheap out on putting a good sound system in there is beyond me. I suggest wherever those sound engineers there either fire them get better ones if that's the issue or get a better sound system. So I suggest to anybody who's reading this review if you go see a concert there take it with a grain of salt the sound may be good may not be good take your chances. And as far as Google reviews a lot of people agreed with me and said the same similar thing about the sound issue there. But as far as the bands are concerned it's not their fault if the sound s***s there but they all put on a great performance I have no gripe with that best stadium production ever but the sound for sofi stadium sucked!

Would have been a perfect 5 star review, but there was a few things that I disliked. first was the level of sound as a sound engineer myself it really bothered me at how poorly the sound mixing was done. I feel the vocalist didn't have enough level as I could just barely make what they where saying out over the instrumental parts. Had they taken the time to walk around the stadium while doing sound checks they would have noticed this right away. Second the AC in the facility was not pushing enough air around to keep the upper levels cool as by the time the second act took stage I was sweating very heavily and that made for a very uncomfortable night. Lastly DEF Leppard Promoted the IPA for sale at the Venue and while walking every concourse level I was unable to find it for sale anywhere. Do not advertise something for sale if you do not have it at the venue!!!

Poison and Def Leppard won the night with their shows. Motley Crue was good, but their videos used during the show, wasn't appealing to me. MC song selection was pretty good. Vince and the band are older. His voice isn't like it was. I still think they were worth the price of admission. Def Leppard was Excellent!!! Good mix of song selections . Joe Elliott takes care of his voice and sounded better. Same with Poison. Bret Michaels got the crowd pumped up for DL and MC. His hometown concert brought something extra. He is from Butler,Pa...Must have been a dream to play in the area on all their past tours. Joan Jett and the Blackhearts may have been good, but to me the sound coming from the speakers was less than ideal. Made her sound muffled and distorted some songs. I was looking forward to her set leading up to the concert. Two years plus waiting for this tour. Overall, didnt disappoint the nearly 40,000 showed up and got their money's worth. 🤟👍❤

From Joan Jett belting out the old favorites such as "Do You Wanna Touch Me" and "Bad Reputation" to Motley Crue's rendition of "Smokin' in the Boy's Room", this concert was definitely one for the ages. Joan Jett and the Blackhearts were up first and proved that they were there to rock your socks off. The energy their performance brought had many fans leaving booze lines to sing along with Joan. Ending their set with "I Hate Myself for Loving You", the crowd went wild and "One more, one more" could be heard shouted from several fans. Next up, Poison took the stage and freakin' rocked Denver's Coor's Field with "Your Mamma Don't Dance" and "Talk Dirty To Me" along with a handful of others. Bret and the boys once again proved that not only can they rock but they can roll. The energy that Bret brings to the stage is contagious and he had the floor audience jumping to the beat. For the third act, Def Leppard took to the stage and made the floor shake with each and every song they performed. Such favorites as "Photograph" and "Rock of Ages" showed the nearly sold out stadium fans of all ages that Leppard is not fading away any time soon. As the sunset in Denver, Elliot, Collin, Allen, Campbell and Savage proved that they are truly Armageddon it! With the setting sun came Motley Crue's "Wild Side". The crowd went wild and the whole stadium was shaking with the beat of Tommy's drum. Neil asked if we wanted to hear songs from the first album and of course, we collectively screamed "YES!" With that, Mars' crisp rockin guitar started "Live Wire" and we were all a little bit better than we used to be. "Looks That Kill" started and as usual, this song did not disappoint. The Crue's backup singers/dancers were in barely there leather costumes reminiscent of the 1984 video along with Neil's voice, we all knew that indeed looks can kill. Vince, Mars, Sixx and Lee showed young and old that they still have what it takes to rock out. A concert I wouldn't miss for the world!!

The show was great, if you have the Meet and Greet Motley Crue package be prepared to be disappointed. it was about 8 seconds long, just enough time for the crew running it to have you stand on an X and snap a picture and push you out the door. I completely understand the covid test and precautions set up but for the $$$ very sad. It went from bring a couple things to sign to them having pre signed stuff they give you, no big deal. Unfortunately it was a pair of drumsticks auto penned with Tommy Lee sig on it and a tiny pin saying VIP on it. I understand it's a different time form when the concert was scheduled but if you take 3/4 the experience away, don't charge full price. Love Motley Crue but the M&G was completely pointless.

Amazing! Joan Jett , Poison were both awesome. Def Leppard still sounds amazing. But at 852PM , they had to cut their set short and we were told to evacuate the field. I love all the bands but was there for the Crue! After waiting over 2 years for it, my heart sank. They paused the show 90 minutes . It did not look good and some people left thinking it would not happen. At 1038PM , Nikki Sixx texted that the show was a GO! The rain almost ruined it but in the end made it better. The crowd was so fired up by the time they came on. It was worth the wait to see them!! Tommy , making light of the situation with his broken ribs, tossed out actual ribs and beer to the crowd. Yes, it was a party and a celebration . The pandemic just made us all appreciate the concert experience even more. Long live the Crue!

“With a break from the heat but not from the music (a pleasant 80° post 17 days of 90+ heat), the Stadium Tour finally rolled into Charlotte for a Tuesday show. Finally sums it up well as tickets for the 36 city tour originally went on sale in December of 2019! It was my first time seeing Def Leppard (despite many opportunities) and also Crue so I was super-excited. I had seen Jett in Spring of ’89 and Poison in 2017 when I showed up for Cheap Trick (the first half of a double-bill), and left a believer in Poison! The order of the 7 hour day was Joan Jett then Poison who were billed as ‘special guests’, next were Motley Crue and Def Leppard on the alternation swapping their order out every other show as ‘co-headliners’. Of note there was also an opening band ‘Classless Act’ coming in with perfect timing for their debut album just days earlier. An estimate of the age of the majority of attendees was 50 plus, the atmosphere at our seats pungent and earthy. Joan age 63 came on promptly and without a lot of fan fair. She immediately got the crowd off their feet, ‘Are you ready for a day of rock and roll?’ Dressed all in black, black Gibson in hand with a pink heart on it ‘Girl Is Not A Four Letter Word’, we could all agree on one thing, that ‘ROCK’ is! The drum kit in like fashion was all in black monogramed on the bass drum, ‘JOAN JETT AND THE BLACKHEARTS’. The fact that Joan had been touring right up to the stadium dates was evident in the fact that she did not miss a single beat throughout the 45 minute set. She sounded identical to me as she had some 33 years earlier. Poison coming off a 4 year hiatus was simply amazing! The energy alone from Bret Michaels working the crowd (dressed in a black Poison shirt with trademark bandanna) was contagious. ‘I don’t care if it snowed, we were coming here to throw a party!’, at 59 he looks great! CC at 60 with long hair, aviator glasses, his red vested top hat and GMP flying V was strong as ever playing a 4 minute solo (far too short to spotlight his talent) that included an excerpt from ‘Eruption’. Rikki Rockett had a super cool green kit with the Poison skull and bones on the bass drum, the bones were images of sticks creatively spelling out his name. A row of light boxes kept everything captivating and bright during the hour long daylight set. Crue was the most visual. Being their first major tour in 7 years the anticipation was mounting as even their stage set was reported being shut up a warehouse for over two years. A sound from the video screens came on like a breaking news report, ‘For the next 2 hours music will be the only form of communication!’ What seemed to be a stage length partition designed to conceal the stage crew during the turn time doubled as a video screen with the words ‘THE FUTURE IS OURS’, rising up and revealing the set. There were four large radio towers or ‘lighting trees’ with spiked tips extending up. There was what looked to be erector set staging all over the stage with which dancing girls could use to climb. Yes there were dancing girls ‘The Nasty Habits’, who also sang and I’m pretty sure they weren’t background tracked. Two huge inflatable futuristic looking mannequins filled up the already crowded stage for ‘Girls Girls Girls’. Neil addressed the crowd, ‘We’re back, we’re back, you thought we were gone and now were f*****g back… let’s go! The focus would not be on Vince Neil’s voice but his frontman-ship. I had heard that he has never really had a strong stage voice so I wasn’t there to hear studio albums reproduced. However had stated that he was going to get himself in shape for the tour (and after recently seeing Bon Jovi), he did a great job! Tommy Lee who had suffered 4 broken ribs a couple weeks prior to opening night played his first entire set! He was also featured on a piano that rose up from beneath the catwalk for ‘Home Sweet Home’. One couldn’t tell that Mick Mars 71 was the oldest performer of the evening, he carried himself with the best of them. There were to be no pyrotechnics on this tour however at the end of Crue’s set, a huge smoke screen from the back of the floor section rose toward the sky like giant pink cotton candy, awful smelling and view obstructing. The band played an hour and a half. Honestly, that stage was a lot to switch out for Def Leppard and it took about 35 minutes, the crew did great. A video screen countdown commenced, 10-9-8… and Leppard followed with a flawless 18 song set. Joe Elliott 62 in the front clearly has stayed in vocal-shape, ‘It’s been a hell of a wait, we want to thank you for waiting for us!’ The bands recent gig at the ‘Whisky A Go Go’ was all it took to get them in top form for this tour which included four tracks from the new album. The set list was heavy on the Hysteria album being its 35th anniversary, a whopping seven songs made the cut. The custom drum kit had the ‘Diamond Star Halos’ eye with the DL pyramid on it operating under clear command and control of Rick Allen sporting his Union Jack headphones. A second drum set rose up out of the catwalk for ‘This Guitar’ the first song in an acoustic set which for me was a highlight of the evening musically. The set lasted about 1 1/2 hours, it may not have had the glam of Crue but musically (in my opinion) it was the best performance of the evening and the order of bands worked well. There was nothing notably missing from either bands set lists (save ‘Too Late For Love’) which made for a great night. Also there was a 25% chance of thunderstorms to which we all stayed ‘High ’N’ Dry’ minus a light shower during ‘Pour Some Sugar’. All I could think of was my old man saying, ‘What, are you made of sugar?’ BOA Stadium staff were great, they moved everyone quickly in and through security with zero nitpicking, kudos. The sound was very good for a stadium show, not too loud not too soft. In summary, this was more than just hair bands or glam bands reliving their glory days, this was the 80’s in Rock N Roll still alive and well in 2022!” by DAve (Concerts #670-673)

I'll give it 4-stars. I saw Crue many times "back in the day" and while we all age...and back then I was in the "heat of the action", if you will. I did not get the same energy from my seats - Speaking of seats - it would have been nice if they lowered the "fowl ball" screen..shame on Citifield. My seats were lower level, 2nd row. Tommy Lee being out - the drummer did a GREAT job, but I'm not even sure who he is. Tommy Lee slithered off the drum kit and they never said anything - he just left. He did come back out spoke and did the piano bit for Home Sweet Home...which was cool. MICK MARS is a GOD and he, at least at this show should have been featured on camera much more than he was - it was like the Nikki Sixx show...Vince did a great job - I was very happy to see/hear that he was souding good. Rock on Crue - but Def Leppard was on POINT.

Def Leppard was nothing but stellar....all the hits you want to hear plus some of the newer material....they never lost an edge. My 3rd fav band ever. (Ratt and STP respectively) Well it was good to see the Crue boys back...however it was not their best performance...Vince mumbled through most of the songs and forgot some lyrics here and there...and Tommy played a bit but was replaced by another drummer because he broke 4 ribs...I can't fault him for that though. Overall it was great to hear the classics...I'm assuming they will get better as the tour progresses...it was their first show in about 7 years so overall I gave them 4 stars.....Rock On!! I'm not a big Poison fan but they rocked the house, I have to admit. Joan Jett rocked too...she is incredible...been a huge fan since my first 45 record back in 1981 was "I Love Rock n Roll"

Luckily I was able to see Poison and Motley Crue. I missed Joan Jett d/t parking issues and getting to the arena with my walker down 2 large hills, and then had to leave after Motley Crue d/t mom falling and getting injured while I was at the concert. She told me to finish the concert, but a huge thunderstorm with lightning hit right after Motley Crue, so I really don't know if Def Leppard got to play. I was happy to be here though, because I was also at the farewell concert in Greenwood. The bands were great as usual. I still listen to the music in the car. Great memories from high school and when I first saw them at Monsters of Rock in Germany when Faster Pussycats opened for them.
