Talib Kweli

I have been a fan of Talib Kweli from 1998. This was the first time I went to a live concert and he great. I had to laugh to the fact the he kept it black in the middle of Lakewood, OH, true solider. Keep being you. I would pay dearly to get a second Black Star collaboration with Yaseen Bay.

Fantastic show. The opener was a cool local cat. Talib came on at 9:45 and did his thing. A bit after 11 his set ended and he took over deejaying the rest of the night. Dope crowd, intimate venue, great vibes.

I absolutely LOVE the venue, Nectar Lounge, but was super disappointed in Talib's show, and I do not say that lightly! I understand bad nights, so perhaps it was one of those, but there was something just super off. Bummer! I've listened to him since 2001 and only 12 years old, so I'm a forever fan. Just hoping he's all good and it was just a bad night. GREAT openers, and again, one of the coolest venues in Seattle IMO.

Talib was on point, the venue was not. Who dafuq sits on stage and smokes after repeated warnings from Talib during the show but doesn't get booted from the club?!

Sound was terrible. Crowd was kind of whack. should have had it at pinhook. The openers all crushed it (sound was actually better for them than for talib). Been awhile since I've seen so many performers forget so many lyrics. But it happens. Glad I got to see. Almost every New York rapper I've ever seen come to Durham expects people to be like real hip hop b boys and we just aren't.

Amazing show. Brought some great energy and hits, snuck in some randoms that we wouldn’t expect. Sang for the crowd and showed some love to the original samples from the beats. A lot of love in the room. Favorite part was his ending, reminded everyone to show love, peace and respect to ourselves and each other. Also a much needed shout out to not drink and drive. DJ spinselect was legit.

This is my 4th time seeing Talib but it was my first time seeing him without a live band. Although it was great seeing the female dj do her thing the live band takes it to a totally different level.

Great show good vibes got to meet Talib kweli got his autograph on vinyl for my sister who had work such an EPIC night! Another one in the books RS!

The opening act (Diani Ashe) was trash, Chazmere completely SET IT OFF, Niko Is was cool and Talib was the WOKE AF joy that he always is! His energy is amazing and he kept the hits coming. Though I can't say I would go to another concert. Eventbrite said the concert started at eight. And while I did not expect it to start on time, I certainly didn't expect him to come on at midnight. We had been standing for more than three hours by that point...I was hella over it. So be aware that if you go to the show, try and find the lineup list in advance!

Talib rocked it. Small venue but he brought the energy. Many people were there just to party and didn't have a clue who he was. Talib as usual rocked the show!

The concert could've been better if they had things set up to begin with but other then that I was happy to finally see him in person

an artist like kweli, id expect to preform with live instrumentation. other than that he did a lot of his hits...

The show was great! Such a good vibe and I danced the night away. However, I was disappointed that we didnt see much of 9th wonder. He truly was the main reason why we went to the show and wish we could if seen more of him. It would have been 5 stars if we would have seen more of him.

He didn't play all of my favorites, but he rocked out to enough of them. Enjoyed myself. Hip hop lives!

Epic! Spoke to peeps that had seen Talib before tonight, that this was one of his best nights. I would 100% agree. Great vibe.

Great show! Talib is a true MC and the stage is where you show and prove. Nice venue at RockhouseStl. StLouis represented.
